"If no Anne, if no rescue, if this is defeat for me, then know this: you and I were neck-and-neck in this race to the very end, but Jesus did I make up a lot of ground to catch you." Most underrated line
I almost cried when the woman said "and did you know Jack Rackham?". The look in Jack's eye when she said that just melts my heart. This is an incredible montage.
It gets me every time. If there wasn't undeniably one specific moment that is the culmination of this whole show (the kiss, obviously) that would've been it. "And did you know Jack Rackham?" for me, is the singular thematic moment when the whole thing comes full circle.
He was a perfect character, so enjoyable. The comedy moments that came with him never crossed the line of being too much or forced, just a little nudge at comedy. He is relatable in his awkward nerdiness, witty behind "I am the dumb one" role, everybody trusts him enough, because who would not.
Favorite character in the series. Wonderful acting and saga. The man who wanted everyone to know his story, ended being the last one to tell everyone else's stories.
I can see how much you love Jack's character, Mike. He's the smartest pirate in the show and his seek of being remembered is unique. This was a beautiful edit on his character
I played AC 4: Black Flag before this show. My gosh this should've been the Jack Rackham in the game, and the Anne Bonnie. Better a badass girlfriend than a barmaid. More accurate too historically speaking. Still, both are great.
I just have no words.. This is just too beautiful. Man, this video deserves so much more. You did an excellent job here for Jack. Thank you so much for this an amazing video!
Good video, though watching the show I thought it was a weird direction for the writers to take. The historical Jack Rackham's great legacy was surrendering at the first sign of trouble while Anne kept fighting, and failing to wriggle out of the noose. As in Lydia's newspapers, the fictional Jack is the more compelling character.
I really wanted to see Captain Jack join forces with Captain Flint against the British empire! Damm i really hated Max character and how she talked Jack out of it.

"Godspeed Charles". "Fuck you Jack".
Poetic Cinema.
It always amazes me how many people didn’t get the end scene when they showed the infamous Jolly Roger. It’s such an important part of the story.
