Installing Front Brake Lines BMW E36 M3. 1992-1998 Including Brake Bleeding

Installing Stop Tech stainless braided brake lines on the front of a 1997 BMW E36 M3. Bleeding the brakes. This should be the same for any 1992 to 1998 BMW 3 series including 318, 325, 328. The whole job should only take you 20 minutes.

Thx for info of wrenches. Also your bleed tube is not flex and narrow so air can adding at the top place. If you use narrow , flex ones and also add checkvalve 1 bucket it is very east to do.

I bleed them like you do in the video. No air going out anymore. Brake pedal is hard when the car is stopped, but once I start the car if I press the breakes it just pushes air and it doesn't brake.

Does the car feel spongy when you brake and when you clutch in? I read somewhere that proper bleeding of these cars require pushing all calipers in.

I haven’t had any spongy brake issues.

Not sure where you saw that but that's not something you should do. Best case you just waste time, worst case you push back enough fluid that the reservoir cap pops off spilling fluid or fluid spills out the pressure release valve, both of which make a mess (brake fluid chews through paint really quickly, btw). Perhaps you misinterpreted someone saying that you should bleed your brakes whenever you push pistons back when changing brake pads?
