god damn lol. Z5500 is one I have wanted for a long time, they are hard to come by for a decent price though. I have the z2300 right now and even this is a monster.
I just got one with a broken pod, worst feeling ever. Gonna make a new lead for it instead.

@@TheJVCguy Really? Looking into the amp I don't know if I approve deeply or don't approve at all. The inside of the Z5500 is just an amp, no input control what so ever, all of that is done in the pod which is too small and can't handle the amount of heat that goes through it and it fries and renders both useless :((

i got this monster for years, and its still a beast
...the Logitech Z5500 sub's driver deserves a custom box - it can sound much better like in the original box (but it depends on each person's preference)...once I've seen a vid of a home-made car simulator here on yt with a built-in sound system, and as a sound system they're completely remade the Z5500's enclosures, just I could not find that vid now - I don't know why (maybe I'm just searched it wrong): bandpass box for the sub - the sub's cone was visible - 1 wall of the box was made of plexiglass, and small custom wooden ported boxes for the tweeters

@@denisbasshead7787 due to its stock box and stock amp's built in low pass filter/limiter at lower frequencies.
Put it in a proper box with a proper amp without a low pass filter/limiter and it'll perform as well as any other 10" at the same (188-ish call it 200watts) RMS power

True! its a beast compared to my Z623 here which lack the power
I fortunately have both now, however I can tell the 5500 has a more agressive low pass filter. It won't flex this much with the stock Amp. You can make the 623 flex a lot more (I have 2 sets of 623's btw and my brother has 3)

your brother is amazing to have 3 of them.
One of my concern for the 623 is burning the subwoofer at extreme bass and finding a replacement of the same size 7 inch is hard to find.

i had an Xplod XS-GTR121L, it didn't bottom out unless you REALLY fed it too much power, i had it in a decently tuned 54L box tho
very good woofer , but dont know why it doesnt play low end (below 30hz)it's a 10"
The amplifier has a subsonic filter which only allows it to play more that 30hz

@@nxa0303 have 32hz fr the woofer so .. 32 33 35 hz and again domt paly well with power those hz at 40hz star to hit well

Can you test the Harman kardon HKTS 7 subwoofer?
Do your songs have bass notes under 25 hz? Because I designed my own Enclosure for my car sub and when using it on max volume (500rms) its excursion goes into/over Xmax under 25hz. I wasn't able to set the subsonic on my amp. So, do you have any Song recommendation for it?
Some do some don't. Try the new track on the 2nd channel, it'll be available in about 5 hours or so from now and the lowest bass note is 25hz.

i got something that;s even better then all Logitech subwoofers aka as my dual 18 inch pa subwoofer that's 1600rms and the peak power is 6400w no cap and the sub plays at 138db
