If you're about to take the Professional Education Exam, don't rack your brains in learning this stuff. In my experience, it's worthless information, for the most part. I've taken this exam and only encountered one educational theorist question with corresponding concept. However, if you rather not skip over this, then familiarize yourself with Piaget, Vygotsky, Maslow, and Erikson. Just know how their concepts are applied in the classroom and move on.
