Totally with you on being a sucker for birth stories!! My husband is nervous about being further from GR, but the more I research home birth the safer I feel at home! Thanks so much for watching and supporting my channel!

    Love hearing your stories.
I had 4 hospital and 1 home birth!
I love home birth! One of the reasons is that you don't need to go anywhere! For me the difference was very big!
I didn't know much about home births before otherwise I would have all my kids home.

Yes-it's amazing not having to transition anywhere during labor!! I agree that it's one of those things that once you've experienced it, you never want to do it any other way!
Thanks so much for always watching and cheering on me and my channel!

I had c-sections with all 3 of my kids. First one was an emergency different obgyn delivered her. My boys one was scheduled and the other I went into labor. But I was lucky. My ob was onsite when I got to the hospital so he and the on all ob both delivered my youngest

That's awesome and I'm sure it made you feel a lot more comfortable having someone you knew and were comfortable with deliver your baby!

Your first birth sound a lot like my first. I didn’t have an episiotomy but I did tear and need stitching, I think because of being forced to push on my back and to do longer harder pushes than I felt my body was asking for. And the pitocin reaction was awful along with giving the baby shots and eye ointment which I didn’t even want within a couple minutes of her coming out, when I was just trying to meet her.

I’m sorry to hear your first labor was filled with so many negative experiences, yes similar to mine. The one great thing that came out of that experience, though, was that it opened my eyes to what labor and delivery could be like and gave me so much motivation and heart to share that information with others. How did your experience shape the way you went into future pregnancies and deliveries?
