I feel that maintenance is not the issue here....even a well maintained or even new one can crash. Let us establish the cause and we start from there. We can invite air craft investigators.
There is every reason for Kenyans to think about aircraft maintenance. Think about this: General, the Chief of Defence Forces in the whole country travelling in just one helicopter. Aren't there supposed to be other helicopters following them to offer assistance in case of anything?? 😢 Leave alone that, why would the soldiers, the sergeants and the General travel even in the same plane? I mean, even on an aeroplane, the pilots don't eat the same food, so why wouldn't they travel on different airplanes, for protection in case of anything?? Lastly, I'm not yet a pilot but I know that planes are checked before flight. I mean, for a whole General, I personally expect a thorough checkup on a plane before flight for such an important leader. Like, the check-up team, or whoever checked up the plane, let's know from the investigations... I mean, the investigation department be serious and critical in your work and bring to us results of what happened. My opinion as a Kenyan. Thank you.

@@TheTororist the investigations should tell us... And let's pray that "pilot error" is not used as an excuse... If at all it's not the reason for the crash.... 😭

Remember PC. Philemon Chelagat and colleague's plane crash? What of that of Hon. Bonaya Godana and team? What about the plane crash that killed Hons. Kipkalya Kones and Lorna Laboso? Still remember the plane that killed Hon. Saitoti and Orwa Ojode etc? What have our politicians learnt?
I'm sorry, please don't misunderstand me, it's only speculation though, we have to wait for investigations to know the truth....
