London is, to me, one of the world’s most beautiful cities. A mix of old and new. It has become a wonderful place for new generations after the devastation of WWII. Congratulations, Queen Elizabeth, you and the “firm” have done it right for last 70 yrs.👑👋🏼🇺🇸
Wow - the Elizabeth Line has to be the new Gold Standard of Subway (Tube/Underground) experiences! What a classy touch to the London area - thanks Hannah - another "much appreciated" and well done Vlog!
My daughter & I were in London this last Sunday & Monday before we went to Paris & back to the US. The Elizabeth Line was closed along with several others in preparation for the Jubilee. I made it to Piccadilly Circus & to Fortnum & Mason. I so wanted the bag, but it was sold out by then. I did end up getting the special blend Jubilee tea & the Fortnum & Mason tea towels! My daughter thought that I was crazy to want to buy the tea towels! I miss Tescos, M&S Foods, Sainbury’s & Waitrose. Food prices were actually cheaper in the UK than in the US except for London & Edinburgh.
What an incredible celebration and we got to be a part of it, thanks to you. I have my official Jubilee mug from Harrods and feel very festive during morning tea. I so wish I could be there to see the massive outpouring of celebration for the Queen but will be content to watch from afar. Thank you again, Hannah, we just LOVE your channel.
Thank you Hannah- your vlogs are very informative & all the views are captured very well!! We appreciate the time & effort you put into all your vlogs 💕💖💕
My first trip to London was in June of 1969...Studied at Westfield College Univ. of London. Many fond memories especially of the Tube. What a change!! The atmosphere of the old trains was special...Sort of a WWII vibe.
How wonderful everything looks! The flowers, the bunting, the eggs - magnificent! Thank you again for taking us along - always the highlight of my week! I was making my bunting as I watched - it's now up on my deck!
It's been a good day!! A new informative video from Hannah and my new British passport arrived. What timing 😁. We now familiar with the Elizabeth line without having to ride it. You becoming really professional with the video producing, well done! 👌 Can't wait to visit all places you've showed us.
Looks really cool Hannah - spaceage! Love the curvy ceilings. Thanks for showing us. Sad about the flower vandals outside the shops. Happy Jubilee weekend 👑💖🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Think I’ve seen more of London through your videos Hannah than when I lived here in UK in 80’s and 90’s and went on day trips down to London with mates so thank you Hannah 🙏
Dear Hannah, thank you for the new line tour! I lived in London when they just have started building this line ... I worked in property management, sometimes visited 8-10 apartments a day in different parts of the city.. I remember myself looking at a map of the new line (under construction) and dreaming of getting from Paddington to Canary Wharf direct! Today it is real ! Thank you ! Purple is my favorite color too! 💜💜💜
Hey Hannah! Great video. I can't seem to get enough of vids about the Elizabeth Line... they've done such a wonderful job building it - even if it was overdue (seems like it was worth the wait though). Those shortbread tins at M&S are only 5pounds??? Wow... good deal and its a nice tin too. Great to see all the Jubilee decorations. I seen a video by Wanderzim that did a walking tour around the whole Chelsea in Bloom area - absolutely fabulous. Thanks for posting... 'Til next time!
Steve, I agree with you about the Elizabeth Line. It’s really well done. I did paid 5 pounds for the tin from M&s and then a further 20 pounds for delivery charge (Canada 🇨🇦).
@@kathleen3292 I am also in Canada... 25pounds shipping? Wow! Think I'm a little too cost conscious for that! LOL. But then again, you've got a really cool tin, so cheers to that!
Hannah ! I went to the coronation all the way from Austin Texas ! I also visited Stonehenge and Liverpool . I fell in love with the kindness of Londoners on the tube helping me give directions to places I needed to be. I’ll be back again in 2024 . I need to venture out more in Liverpool. Cheers from Austin Texas . Claudia
I love seeing the ways Londoners express their creative urges, especially around special events. London looks glorious in the sunshine! A beautiful vlog Hannah. My heart skipped a beat when I saw you on that median. Do take great care. See you in your next vlog!
We just loved seeing this Vlog Hannah albeit only now, not only 'Riding the Elizabeth line' but also seeing Regent Street with the Jubilee flags and Saville Row, then to Tiffany and the wonderful Burlington Arcade and passing `Boodles’ with their exquisite jewellery! Suddenly you said “it’s a glorious sunny day!” I was speaking to an ‘old’ friend on the phone and said “Wow” because you showed the gorgeous Connaught Square and then gave me an emotional trip down ‘memory lane’ into Connaught Street with its delightful shops-some with a courageous inspirational history such as Marcus Coffee where the owners had escaped from Hungary during the Hungarian revolution and started up their own successful coffee shop roasting coffees- and entrance to ‘Archery Close’ the mews I was brought up and lived in until I was married in September 1973! From Connaught street we could turn left, walk down Albion street, across Baywater Road into Hyde Park and have a pretty walk to Knightsbridge where Hannah zooms us to next to Harvey Nichols and to the Iconic Harrods as she rightly says and past the fabulous restaurants nearby. Thank you for taking us with you on another of your brilliant London vlogs. We look forward to ‘coming’ on many more great walks with you. Best wishes Christina, Crediton Devon, UK.
Wow all the decorations were amazing to see ! They really go all out ! I especially loved the Alice in wonderland tunnel ! 💗. The architecture is stunning to look at ! Thanks for a great day sightseeing!
So much UK this weekend 🇬🇧❤️ I love all the jubilee things. Thank you for showing us around. Elizabeth Line looks very nice. I've been waiting for years and now it's finally running. I hope you're feeling well again and will be able to attend the concert and everything else fun this weekend. 🌸
Excellent stream as always Hannah. The Elizabeth Line looks amazing, great connections. Love Regent Street, my favourite street in London. Hans Crescent as such beautiful properties. Just imagine living so close to Harrods Food Halls Heaven on Earth Look forward to your next stream, have a great week 👍🏻👍🏻😁
Hi Hannah yet again a lovely look at London just beautiful...loved the handbag looking forward to next week's vlog hope you've had a brilliant jubilee time x
Thx so much Hannah, for taking us on the new Elizabeth line, & to see ALL the various decorations & bunting all over London in honor of the Queen's Jubilee! You are right, that everything in London looks so gorgeous in the bright sunshine....what a perfect day for your vlog! Hannah, it is always so enjoyable to visit the different sights on London thru your creative & informational vlogs.....thx so very much for all your time & effort! Have a wonderful week Hannah, & I look forward to seeing much more of the Jubilee related sights & activities in your next vlog!
Darling, your videos are the best! Other British (self absorbing) bloggers focus the camera 98% on themselves when their titles say otherwise. Hi Hannah, wonderful vlog! Loved seeing...well everything! What a beautiful day, thank you for taking us along, the architecture is stunning! Loved the handbag. I'm following the Queen's Jubilee, I hope you have a truly wonderful time! Have a great weekend! Thanks for sharing, take really good care of yourself, stay well! Lots of love Kathy x 💖 (Canada)
Hannah great vlog on the Elizabeth line!! Paddington as some sidings which train goes into and come out again!! Whitechapel Elizabeth line is the only station to have artwork at the moment according to Geoff Marshall on UA-cam interesting to watch!!he as looked at stations on Elizabeth line.Great to see items for the platinum jubilee.
That's pretty special that it's the first new line in our lifetime, since the 70s at least. For some reason I love the London underground and train travel in general. Purple is a gorgeous colour and really suits the regal name! The station look very futuristic and cool, love the panelling and architecture too. Looking forward to using it one day 😊
Thank you so much for this video. I would have loved to have had a chance to go to Chelsea to see it in bloom, so happy you made some footage. Exiciting to see the new Elizabeth line too!
Wauw what the florist have done was sooo Beautiful 😻 Gorgeous tour Hannah thank you so much for taking Us a long. Have a lovely Weekend of celebration en joy the concert🥰
Thank you, Hannah, for taking us along with you on your Jubilee shopping. Loved seeing all the festive windows and bunting and LOVED the flower sculptures and eggs.
Thankyou so much. For health reasons I will never get to London so thankyou for taking me there. Also I'm a Royalist so I've been part of the celebrations here in Tasmania. God bless youm
Great vlog Hannah - When you think about it - if they had just called the Elizabeth line - Elizabeth, it would have been a bit odd and obscure. None of the underground stations have a christian name and nothing else [ well I don't think so ] Loved especially the walk in the sun around Knightsbridge and Chelsea - so pretty. Enjoy the Jubilee weekend x
Hannah loved the vlog. Even though I am in NZ I follow Geoff Marshall who vlogs the tube and train systems in London and in 2017 he and his partner did All the Stations in the UK which was a great watch. Crazy even if you don;t like trains particularly he is engaging. His coverage of the Elizabeth Line is so enthusiastic I want to visit just to ride the Elizabeth Line looks amazing. Would love some of those biscuit tins and anything corgi is enchanting. Enjoy your celebrations 70 amazing years. Those floral arrangements are stunning and hope you found all the eggs :D
The new train line looks really good. I love the way the design recalls the original trains, yet it is modern. I am not totally against everything modern, just most of it! Thank you for the video, Hannah!
Thanks for posting this, I was lucky enough to be in the UK last week and actually went on the Elisabeth Line on opening day from Tottenham Court Road to Liverpool Street and back, was around 1 pm and not crowded at all, really enjoyed the ride, before heading back to Oxford Street for lunch in the restaurant in Selfridges (can really recommend that, decor and food fantastic), oh and by the way the restaurant behind Harrod‘s used to be a fish restaurant called Wheelers (also excellent back then). Thanks again for this lovely video, it always feels like home ❤️
Hi Hannah, Apparently those totem like poles you referred to on the Elizabeth Line stations, are an acknowledgment to the beautiful uplighters which were once a familiar site on the underground, and can still be seen at St John’s Wood station, which you would obviously be familiar with living nearby. They form a decorative pattern and also have speakers attached to them.
Thanks for another great video! I feel like I keep adding to my knowledge of London and I keep adding to my list of things to see if I’m lucky enough to visit again from the US (for now I’ll see London vicariously through your videos 😊)
Back in old blighty, overnight flight back arrving today, Friday, and as regular as clockwork a Friday Hannah vlog 😀Great stuff as always, wonderful to see central London buzzing and busy. Wishing you, Hannah, a wonderful Jubilee weekend x PS, for anyone that would want to know, Heathrow T5 midday on a Friday, busy but not horrendously so, and passport control was a breeze so no horrible queues or anything like that.
The flower displays were stunning. I wish I had a tube system where I live but I guess is a no when you below sea level and in hurricane area. Thanks for sharing

Thank you again for an amazing premiere it was really awesome Hannah. Please keep doing these amazing amazing vlogs
Amazing vlog Hannah! Loved to see all of the prep & decorations for the Jubilee. The new Elizabeth line is amazing w.the safety barriers. We could really use those in Toronto! Keep up the amazing work! We always enjoy everything you post!!
Thanks for making this vlog Hannah, I really hoped you were going to do something on the Elizabeth Line and it didn't take long for that to happen! Can't wait to come and try it out myself soon. You sort of answered your own question in the video about why it is known as "Elizabeth Line". It's because it's not technically a tube line, but a whole new mode of transport so that's why it's Elizabeth Line rather than just Elizabeth. Hope you enjoyed the Jubilee celebrations!
Thanks you so much for the tip about the American candy stores. That's a story that hasn't penetrated to us over here across the pond. (And being as I'm 199 days away from my first trip to London, I now know to avoid them! So excited!) Thanks Hannah!
I’m not from England, but travel to London several times, and was actually quite excited to hear there’s a bew metro line, so it was great seeing the station😍 Also, the first time I visited London Boris Johnson was the mayor, the other times I visited Khan was the mayor, and let me tell you there’s a huge different, in almost every aspect of the city, except the people which are the most kind and welcoming as ever.❤️
Love your videos Hannah, you make a fantastic host /guide. Been watching a lot video on London, amazing to see all that construction going on. I'm not far from Los Angeles and I think you guys can teach our city leaders a thing about keeping a large city clean. Anywho love what you do keep it up... CHEERS 🌹🥂🌹
I love your videos. Makes me feel like I’m there, even though I’ve never been. So wish I could get one of those jubilee collectibles from M&S or Fortnum and Mason. Thanks for taking us along! Sorry to hear you ended up being sick for the jubilee celebrations. I’m glad you at least got out to see some. The fly over ✈️ would have been my favorite part! Hope you feel better ❤️🩹 and can get out this weekend and enjoy a bit more. 🇬🇧🥳👑
