I adopted a similar brake in process with the addition of not using sport mode for the first 1000 miles. That first drive in sport mode after the brake in period was awesome. I've taken this car on 1400 mile road trips at least twice and it still stays comfortable for most of the trip. I’m not sure if you are aware of the oil dilution problem 10 gen Honda’s have. The earthdreams engine has it for sure. So it important to go synthetic and change your oil no more than 4K miles. Honda is working with oil companies and they will be releasing a new oil for the 10 gens on May this year. GDI something a complete new oil, Anyway great SI congrats 🍾

So my only complaint with certain civic models are the LED headlights and or tail/brake lights. I was told let's say for example you have LED brake lights. If a brake light goes out you have to replace the entire Unit not just the bulb and will cost upwards of $500? If that's true that really sucks. I just leased a 2019 2 door civic lx. Nice Lil car

Still have the plastic wrap on the screen + the airbag paper to keep that new feel. Also agree that I have to do an arm stretch to get to my seatbelt.
