  • 🇲🇩 Ever been to Ratus in Moldova? Me neither and so I decided to go and investigate the place so you don't have to. On the way I met some great Moldovan people and of course visited some abandoned Soviet buildings.

@@botidobra6221 It's not postapocaliptic is more like what a corrupt government does to their people, even though people usually think soviets treated their people horribly the second half of the Soviet Union actually gave their people a somewhat decent lifestyle that old people in these villages miss, now they have to live with almost no money and that's pretty sad, at least Bald is showing the world about this and maybe make this corrupt governors actually care about their people just because of shame about what they did by filling their pockets with money

I have been trying to work out why I prefer the East European and Russian Vlogs compared to the Indians ones and I think I've worked it out .... it's the people... They just seem so grounded and I like the fact that they do not expect payment for the slightest favour or try to rip you off like other poor countries. The fact that they seem to have lots of hot women is a nice bonus too :P

I loved Ratus! Simple friendly farm folk. Neat, tidy houses. Birds chirping and a BEAUTIFUL church. The brickwork at its entrance giving a hint of how much thought had gone into the building. (The stones made me think that jewels had been embedded in the walls). But inside! SPECTACULAR! The light and colours contrasting with the grey bleakness of the houses and winter countryside left outside. It would have been good to enjoy for a while, something loved that pulsated with "Life", and contrasted so vividly with the abandoned, broken relics of a once occupying, foreign force.
