Another awesome video Matt!! A couple of thoughts or questions, maybe I need to go back and look at your floater video. Your rear brakes do not have the small e-brake shoes so you maintain hydraulic pressure on the rotor calipers for the e brake function? Was there a reason you chose to go that route? For the rear brake cross over tube that runs over the third member, could you mount a clamp using the third member stud and nut? On my 53 truck they did that with the old closed driveline type rear end cross over tube using the top stud. Thanks for posting this as it helps show the challenges you had to over come. What an awesome build you have going on there.

Thanks! I chucked the cable operated e-brake because I didn’t want to deal with the rigging hassle. I don’t plan to park for extended periods with the e-brake, just cars ‘n coffee, paddocks, etc. I’ll use a chock when it’s parked for a long time. I thought about using a rear end stud but I didn’t have an adel clamp with a big enough hole. Will likely add one with the next parts order.

Any guesstimates on how many times you drive off with the p-brake on? :) You might need a "Remove Before Flight" pin. The underside of the Camaro is looking pretty good. A nice, clean setup.

I think with the full force of the rear brakes it will be pretty obvious but who knows, I’m sure I’ll do it at least once!

Saw someone recently on YT with a "Remove Before Yeet" tag. Definitely not a bad idea!
Another great video, thanks for taking the time to curate a feast for our eyes!
If I could make a video request... Maybe do some mundane maintenance on the lifted civic and pop out a quick one? I'd love to see it more up close and personal in moving pictures.

I used the rear disc brakes from a 2002 Firebird, it has the same hub flange pattern as the 12 bolt. These e-brakes are made for a hand operated lever...people say it will break stuff if I use the foot lever that comes factory on the 2nd gen. This valve sounds like a good Idea if it works! Funny tho I replaced all the floor boards and with paint in my gun realized I forgot that little support that goes in the cable hole where you put that valve (quick spot weld fixed that and went on painting) and I got all new cables. This body was on a rotisserie for a year and I really don't want the cables flopping around scratching stuff up. Just wondering with that ALLSTAR valve do you hold the brake and turn it 1/4 or 90 degrees? Thanks

Nice tip on the Firebird brakes. The valve is a ball valve so, yup, just hold the brakes and give it a quarter-turn.

Do you by chance have a part number for that hydraulic brake valve I tried to look it up could not find it thank you

It should be ALL48010 for the valve and ALL50120 for the NPT to flare adapters at Summit. The valve is actually a Parker valve so there may be a cheaper direct source, will take a look for a Parker part number when I get back to the barn.
