I'm from Rome and immediately recognized every single street you were driving, even the highway entrance, since I use it a lot. That was funny!
Just let me say that next time try not to eat directly in the tourist area, since it's more expensive and not necessarily tasty. The best location to try tipical Roman Cousine is Trastevere and Ghetto.

I was saying that the whole time they were eating in Rome! Lol Not the best stuff or authentic in the tourist areas. They cater to the American tourists and it's more expensive.

Driving in Rome is CRAZY - we drove across Italy from Venice to Florence to Pisa to Rome, and everyone we encountered said: take taxis only in Rome 😵💫 Thank you for taking us on this incredible food journey!

I'm glad you had fun in Italy! You are so brave to drive! I went to the same cities you did, but my friends and I traveled in Italy by train. My favorite city was Firenze, I loved all the pretty views, the buildings, and the art at the museum! Everything you ate looked so delicious :)

dammit yb why did i watch this when i was hungry XD such fool i am. i was in rome many years ago and it was the one place i've been i'd most like to go back. i was in the navy and we pulled into chivitavechia and went to rome. oddly enough we had a german exchange navigator who i was friends with and his wife's bestie was dating an italian chef and they happened to be in rome the same time on their way back from a vacation (sometimes stars align). so a few of us and his wife's friend got shown around rome one day by an italian chef who took us to a few restaurants and ordered for us. so we spent probably 6 hours of that day just eating amazing food lol.
