I had a Model X 2020 but now have a Model X 2022 with yoke and blue exterior. I really love this vehicle and plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off.
No, it has sensors and you can program the doors to open to a certain height to account for your garage. If a car parks too close, it will wait to extend the doors out further until it clears. In the event that it cannot clear, you can also manually override it and go beyond its safety threshold.
They have “ambient lighting” which is just white footwell lights and door pocket lights. If you mean multicolored ambient light strips like the refreshed Model 3 Highland, then no, at least no yet.
@ Thanks. I was hoping they would have the multi colored ambient lighting by now like the Model 3 and Y. For such an expensive model you’d think they’d put it in. Do you know if they at least put in the front bumper camera by now?
I own a Model X in this blue, but with the white interior. I bought it new at the end of '22 after owning a '17 Model X. Amazing car. The suspension is wonderful, a huge upgrade over the previous one. The acceleration is beyond anything most people would ever need. 22,000 miles, and it's been nearly flawless. I have the yoke, and now prefer it over the wheel that was in my previous X. The only downside is that Tesla doesn't appear to be giving it much attention, and don't appear to have a new model in the works for when I'm ready for my next one. The Cybertruck isn't a consideration. Looking closely at Porsche next.
It's great to hear you're enjoying your Model X! The upgrades really do make a difference, and it's always nice to see how these cars evolve over time. Hopefully, Tesla will surprise us with something new soon!

That’s awesome! The 2022 Model X is a total beast. Can’t blame you for wanting to keep it forever!
So the family has to wait for you to pull out of the garage in the rain for them to get in the back seats?
Unfortunately, for Model X, yes :(

Does anyone know if the 2025 Model X comes with ambient lighting for the interior cabin? Thanks

Correction: 2.5 seconds 0-60 MPH is NOT supercar territory. It is HYPERCAR territory!
Good 70k alternative to the luxury 160k q8 etron
Agreed!
Wanted to get the silver dual motor but I’ll stick with the dark grey for 10k less. 7500 tax credit +2500 color
It sounds like you've made a smart decision! Saving that $10k can definitely go a long way. Enjoy your dark grey Model X!
