It took place after Annie had joined Shabani and the others and after the gorillas had finished their breakfast.
On this day, the room that has been closed during the morning since April was opened and the gorillas were relaxing indoors.
Kiyomasa was relaxing in his favorite hammock.
Nene was relaxing outside as she likes to be outside at this time of the year.
Annie was a bit listless in the morning, having been left alone before breakfast.
Shabani would approach her and gaze at her.
Kiyomasa did not seem to care about Annie much.
Even though Annie had been worried about Kiyomasa when Shabani had been upset with him a few weeks earlier,
On this day, Kiyomasa was sleeping comfortably in the hammock and messing around with Nene.
I thought he could have cared a little more for Annie.
Kiyomasa weighed about 150 kilograms.
Shabani is around 200 kilos, so Kiyomasa is becoming a silverback gorilla.

Shabani was born in the Appenheul Primate Park, Netherlands.
Nene was born wild in Cameroon.
The other three were born in the Higashiyama Zoo in Japan.

If they ever decide to move Annie they may have to move her beside her daddy for her family 😅 she’s such a daddy’s girl and the way she reacted yesterday was upsetting that it might be better for her to bring her husband to her that way she’s still close to her daddy ❤❤❤
But her husband will be a Silverback in time.He takes stuff from his son, but he probably won't have mercy on another Silverback ( even though his son is not a Silverback yet).
I think Annie might stay with her family, they haven't even thought that far ahead about Kiyo.

Watching the way Annie emotes, I can’t help but see myself when I wake up with weird anxiety. The kind where I actually feel fine, but my body seems insistent that I need to be worried. So I just kind of sit there fidgeting because I’m not sure how to fix anxiety with no source. Funnily, I also go sit and fidget around next to my dad, and that helps. :)

Initially I didn't care for Nene...to bossy. But!!! I have changed my mind. Nene is a fierce, strong Mother .She will die protecting Kyomasa. . She speaks up to Shabani and the others when behavior is out of line. She stays to herself waiting for Kyomasa's companionship. God Bless Nene a beautiful Matriarch in the Shabani troop!!❤

I understand they are safe but always usually look bored. I believe a good idea would be to weekly have the staff think of things to surprise them with to put into the encloser temporarily. Of course items would need to be thought of carefully but do some changes that keep them active now and then will prolong them and also he better entertain for those watching. such as a bunch of lightweight giant play pin balls like used to always be at Walmart is one idea. NOT easy to think of safe fun things every week I know. But atleast once in a while change up the place and give them a Lil mini adventure
Annie doesn't look like her mom. She looks like the family on her dad's side. A resemblance to her grandmother Moulia and especially to her complete aunt M'beli

He may also look like his paternal grandfather or his uncle Haoko in the future. We don't know what Nene's father was like, surely good genetics.
@@famouslegend3649 Every now and then I forget Haoko is Kiyo’s Uncle… all great points you’re making. I do wish I could see video of Nene as a child. Also video of Shabani’s & Haoko’s parents. I wonder if the brothers would recognize each other after being separated for a very long time. Ugh… I wish they could talk 🤭
