Looked a good route, did you just choose your destinations and google maps the bits in between, I've done Europe for the last 2 years on the bike, very addictive, any plans this year 😉
Thanks. We vaguely mapped out a route that was ambitious but one that we hoped would still be fun in terms of daily miles using Google maps and then fine tuned it a tad using trip advisor and places we knew we'd like to go. I'm sure there's much to be said for adhoc but it worked perfectly! desperate to go this year but we have a Fireblade and a street triple now and my Mrs may be with child for the summer... track days this year instead! Check out bike shuttle.Co.UK looks interesting. do you plan / adhoc, hotel / camp?
+totallybizarre23 just been looking at bikesuttle, I'm not sure I could do something like that as I'd feel I'd missed out on the ride down there, it's not a bad idea just not for me I don't think... The way I've toured the last 2 yrs is to stet a destination, 2014 was the Stelvio pass, 2015 was the Grossglockner pass and then plan the route there and back packing in as many interesting places or good roads, we've never booked hotels but generally have a rough idea where we will make it to and research hotels there the night before in the bar 😉 so we have a few options. I've got a 2014 Fireblade , it's brilliant for touring, great bikes. Congrats on your news 👍🏼 fingers crossed you can get away this year at some point.
What a great video! Seems like a great trip
many thanks! it was an awesome trip. looking at using bike shuttle next year, we'll see...
