Ask him since he spends his time critizising others that are doing something

In 2005, the marketer of Lipozene, FiberThin, Zylotrim, and Propolene, settled FTC charges that their misleading weight-loss claims violated federal laws by agreeing to pay $1.5 million in consumer redress: www.ftc.gov/news-events/news/press-releases/2005/06/ftc-settles-claims-marketers-fiberthin-propolene

It seems like most of these so called weight loss supplements are insanely over priced and they don't work. I've struggled with weight MY ENTIRE LIFE. It's a bummer because I like to eat, I have an odd schedule and I'm a damn good cook!
It's my understanding that their are 2 times in an individual's life at which their body is most prone to creating fat cells. The first time is at birth and the other is between the ages of 12 and 16 years of age. I
was likely born with lots of fat cells and, at age 16 I toppled the scales at 205 lbs while I stood only
5' 3" tall.(A volleyball with legs. Along with lots of bullying from my peers and fat shaming from my parents and other relatives and adults in my life. Really "wonderful" self esteem builders, too {sarcastically speaking}. Gee, I wonder if that's the reason I was 23 lbs lighter came home for Xmas after that first semester away at college. No hard feelings. I grew up during an era when many parents thought negative reinforcement was supposed to be a motivator and developing a child's self esteem was not atop the list of priorities on the "to-do" list.
Fortunately, I'm 50 lbs lighter today but I'm still overweight. I've been down to 142 lbs which was pretty good being that I'm very muscular and I have a stocky build to start with. Sometimes it seems like I'd have to literally be hungry, weak and in a mental fog 24/7 plus spend 3-4 hours in the gym no less than 5 days a week. I don't mind exercise. I'm pretty active for someone in her late 50s but don't have that kind of time to BLOW in a gym and I need to be (and I like to be) mentally sharp to do the kind of work I do. I know for a fact, that it takes time to lose weight. My father, who was a Dr. told me to expect to lose between 1&1/2 - 2 lbs a week over the course of 3-4 weeks. He also warned that there would be plateaus in which weight loss would level out. They say the scale doesn't always reward you for your good deeds nor does it punish you for the bad ones. (in my case, the first part is faithfully true albeit the last is not. I've had my metabolism tested and it's normal. I'm convinced that when my weight was at it's peak, was during a time when we're "awarded" the most of our fat cells: adolescence. When we lose weight, those pesky fat cells don't magically disappear, they shrink. The only way to get rid of them is to have them removed surgically. Right now, I'm looking into various procedures to achieve this. My dad also told me that was fine but to first MAKE DAMN SURE the doctor is BOARD CERTIFIED and experienced. Ask questions and do the due diligence on the doctor's credentials, medical practice history and experience. Now that I've saved up the money to do it, I'm looking into various procedures to see which might be the one to best work for me. A couple things I do know is
    1) Crash and/or extreme diets are not only ineffective, they can be downright dangerous. At worse, some could kill you. At best, it wrecks the metabolism and renders the "yo-yo" effect. Sure. You'll lose the weight at first but you gain it right back as soon as you start eating normally again. Plus, you'll likely weigh even more because those crash diets and starvation diets (ie- all protein/no carbs; the Scarsdale diet, a starvation diet which allots a whopping 600 calories a day for 2 weeks) kill the metabolism. They DON'T WORK. 2) "Diet pills" are a real money maker for the companies that peddle them but they DON'T DO what they claim. There's medical evidence to support those claims. They take advantage of desperate people who truly want to shed those extra pounds. The only pill I've ever taken that was somewhat effective was detrxo-amphetamine, Adderall, and the amphetamine analogues (ie- Benzedrine, Dexadrine, Desoxyn) Yes, those WORK, but they require a prescription. Good luck getting as Dr to prescribe them less you're a child with ADHD under the age of 12,. Most won't because it's proclivity for addiction which is likely the reason it's classified as a schedule ll narcotic. Esp with an opioid crisis in full effect. That's the only "diet supplement" that I know of which actually works but it also involves serious risks. The best way to lose weight and to maintain a weight loss regimen is to eat SENSIBLY and be active. I know it's hard but weight loss (depending on one's weight at first) takes time. For some folks, it's a life long battle.

Just remember, if something sounds too good to be true but it’s not you can believe that😅 and I don’t have to ask the doctor about it. It’s called common sense.😮

There's so much microplastics in the average diet now, there is no longer the need to supplement with fiber.
