Yes, understanding that you know nothing. Thank you for sharing this. I had this happen once, decades ago, when I fell off my horse and was knocked out. I felt a wonderful sense of peace beyond anything I could explain and was not the least bit concerned about whether I was dying or not. This talk came at such an important time, I really needed to listen to this. what a beautiful conversation between two people who love each other and embrace differences.

Thank you Julie for helping me to see through some comments here the alchemy that is created when someone embraces the beauty in their journey of BEING. I usually elicit this reaction in others but don't appreciate it because I'm not in community as you are, but now I can see what it looks like outside of me and not take it as a personal affront when this happens. Blessings!🙏🏽💕🦋

I think the chief confusion in the conversation about truth and perspective is the gifts and value we bring to the world.
Mystic Julie brings expansive exploration and openness to any and all ideas. Her job is not to filter them. That's Rich's job.
Rich's job is to take the entire universe of possibilities Julie has found, and focus on the ones that can truly solve a specific problem, or goal, or artistic expression.
Both jobs are vital to human prosperity. But both don't need to be trying to do each other's job.

I just started listening to this and I’m getting chills because I had a similar accident only I landed right on my shoulder and also broke my arm. It was like the universe reached out and dropped me on my shoulder. I was running …. And the experience has had a similar impact on my life. It’s been four years- and I’m still going through a transformation from it.

I appreciate their respect for one another. I think that's what I got out of this talk the most. They are both very independent people, and they are both very talented and creative, and probably need a lot of space for their own independence and creating what they want to do in their lives! I never found the person who would give me that kind of space, and also let me know that they were there for me too....there's a lot of insecurity in that kind of relationship for many people, people get very insecure about their partner's success, and failures, and it very much can ruin a relationship. Two very lucky and intentional people who can value each other's successes and failures, and genuinely encourage each other ....💟☮🕉☯

35 min in and all I can think about is… The Native American tribes, who lived thinking her way and how they suffered at the hands of greedy violent men. Not just in the past, but as recent as the Dakota Access Pipeline protests at Standing Rock (2016).
Native Americans lived connected to the source, spirit… And yet they were disregarded, and have lived in violence even when they are doing peaceful protests… Suppressed and broken of their “individual uniqueness.”
Yes, “Beliefs and the Iron Will to enforce those beliefs,” have caused so much pain and violence to millions of people. Staying in the middle during these times is not going to stop a conservative think tank that is trying to fracture us as humans in this new world. Pushing their absolute truth by reversing Roe V. Wade was just the beginning when they got their conservative Supreme Court in place.
I pray that all the earth angels that meditate and pray for humanity, bring courage and light to the darkness that is trying to suppress individuality and freedom to live.

Mothers! By all definitions my mother was horribly emotional and physically abuse to her 7 children. I could justify "BEING" a victim! I chose to accept the gifts that she gave me, I chose to forgive her and look deeper into my experience to better understand the lineage of trauma that ripples through our families and communities and transform it into love!

  • @hannahrl
    @hannahrl 2 місяці тому +1

I would find it very challenging to he partnered with Julie. I have trouble with static, narrow and judgmental mindsets, but perhaps moreso with the position that everything is subjective, and so because of that idea, it is narrow to be guided by a moral code and a pursuit of truth. Everything about being curious and not demonizing others and loving unconditionally is all deeply spiritually critical and valid, but they do not preclude standing in truth nor voicing the need for justice - tough love is at the heart of recovery in the codependent family system, and in fact standing for what is right is the most loving position. And facts are different than ideas.
Rich, in all this time since your visit to His Holiness, how you have not internalized that you hold the "love of the mother" within kind of stumps me. You need to look at how YOU are when holding the love of your children and often so many others - just because you are a father doesn't mean that isn't the spark of the divine. That is where you can focus to know that is the fundamental perspective of the divine to you, that was somewhere within your own mother, however fraught, and that you may connect with within yourself FOR yourself. You already have an experience of unconditional love in being a father. It is quotidian and thus the spark may be obscured, but it is truly the simplest path to that divinity and doesn't require exploration to connect with, just attention. You probably don't need to heal your surface lifelong relationship with your mother, just connect with the divinity that was in her love for you, however buried or clouded by her own pain or journey?

I used to listen to you a lot 2020-2021 I think even going into 2022
One of the last videos I remember was about addictions…
Julie NEEDS to be heard more, I have a lot of love for your podcast and all that was and is, but she could be really transformative here.
At least one more time before the end of the year and going into spring.
Just more emphasis please please please.
I’m the same type of fan who’s traversed all of David Goggins material and even ran a couple of marathons since as well as many other concepts such as fruitarian, finances, Robert Edward Grant, etc
I don’t even have to listen to this video ( I will because I respect what she’s about to say ) but I’m 3 minutes and she mentioned a couple things that triggered this response.
I’m already well aware and privy of many concepts myself and maybe one day I’ll be heard but while she currently holds a platform here please shine a little more emphasis on her and like minded individuals.
We are amongst a great prefasis. Much like 2019 yet highly different man power vs higher power here. Yet we all hold the higher, we just need a little rattle and so it is.❤

Rich is right, not every mother is a loving mother as they are the COMPLETE opposite of that loving mother. My mother was and is a loving mother and has been protecting me from severe aftermath of being severely harmed by others who almost killed me. My mother left this planet in 1984 and I have been without her physical presence and love most of my adult life but she came to my rescue when I had no one else to help me survive what was done to me. She has worked nonstop 24/7 to help me make it through the hell I crawled through for the last seven years. Unfortunately, those that harmed me never learned from people like you and Rich and that's why my mother has been working nonstop for the last seven years.

She didn't answer your question about certain truths that are not based on personal perspective but on science, instead she started talking about higher truths, like knowing that you know nothing and that we are all an expression of the one consciousness. Your question and her answer do not have to be exclusive of eachother ❤️ You can say that the earth is round, but answering that it is an expression of the one consciousness isn't validation of this 'lower' truth how much it maybe true 😉

It’s important to understand that science is a process and that our understanding keeps growing. What people understood as science two hundred years ago; our understanding will be different in yet another two hundred years. Science is not a fixed truth- our understanding will grow. There are higher levels of understanding that go beyond our current levels of scientific understanding. And that is truth.

@catherinekasmer9905 yes, ofcourse science is evolving. Finding common ground of our current understanding of the world like that the world is round or that the effects of climate change could have serious consequences will help us move forward as a species i think but maybe this common ground can only be reached by all experiencing these consequences so they become true to us all and not only to the scientists who say so and the people who tend to believe that there is truth in the findings of them. If the great North Atlantic Ocean current comes to an hold because to much fresh water from the melting ice of Greenland is mixing with the salt water of the ocean the consequences will be real for everyone no matter where you stand on the political spectrum. Like on a personal level maybe humanity as a whole must suffer more before it is moved to become more conscious of certain smaller and bigger truths ❤️☀️

I am also a musician. There is so much available out there in the world of participatory music. Look into the folk world. It’s possible to integrate music on this level into a life that included working and other endeavors. Noncommercial music is a very special realm. Regarding truth and tantra not having rules: my understanding is that complete mastery of ethical behavior on the ordinary level based on a knowledge that we are fundamentally interconnected and equal beings- this ethical mastery is a precondition for tantric practice. Otherwise such tantric practices would be reinforcing a separate sense of self and possibly causing harm.

Believing that we shouldn't have beliefs is a belief.

Hi, can anyone recommend where to LISTEN to podcasts for free? There used to be Google podcasts, but the service is closed since some months. Thanks in advance.

I’ve had a similar experience in life but of course with my own ways of having experienced it. I wish I could visit a shaman but something tells me that I’m him.

I WANT TO HEAR YOUR MUSIC! I'm listening today specifically to get inspiration for a song - after writing songs inspired by Dostoevsky, Hafiz, stoic philosophy, Milton etc. The people who will want to hear you the most will be other artists. I'm one of them of course. I'm 68 - started playing out at age 54 with a blues band but am much changed now.
I already had a half written song to some of your deeply penetrating ideas when you began speaking of writing and singing. Now I'll ask permission to continue.
Voice: my voice is still improving - sing, singing, sing.
    Warmest regards
    Jennie

I love the part about art!
But I'm a lifelong artist, so there may be a little bit of bias shining through

Rich, I wish you would have given some examples when you were talking about things that are true and not true…. Julie fell and broke her elbow. Can we all have a different truth about that? I’m not saying it’s good or bad but it happened. that is the truth. People stormed the capital on January 6 ‘21 who all had the same idea, the same intention to do violence. Once again, it not who’s right or who’s wrong, but it is true that that happened. If we’re not even going to agree that things we see with our eyes happened, I think we’re lost. There are millions of people who want to say nothing happened that day. This is crazy!
