@Auroniar I dont think their point was mixing them up, their point was to look at ALL of the Honda logo's to determine their strategy. Never did they specify Honda CARS only. I just feel like you're being overly picky for literally no reason
Love the Honda mockup with the H on the back of the jacket. Completely sold the abstract design for me.
I was skeptical about the Honda logo but it looked great in the end. Loved all 3, I really enjoy you old school design aesthetic.
This was a really awesome video! The logos were really cool and I loved how they turned out!
A few thoughts I had:
- Ford actually had an experimental modernized logo in the 60s that seemingly followed some of the same trains of thought as you, although they were applied differently.
- Honda still uses the wing, but only on its bikes. Weirdly enough, they don't use it on their planes. Also, the Honda logo you came up with is like the controlled tyre skid of a racing car pulling out of a lot (this is a good thing)!
- That two founders thing is something Hyundai's logo actually uses. Apparently, that italicized H is supposed to also represent two people shaking hands!
- Nothing to say about the Nissan logo really, other than it looks great!

Omg it's so cool when you place logos on what they'd go on like clothes but the most amazing (in my opinion) is the metallic logo on the car 😱 that's so good !

The Honda driver's suit looks incredible! If the red and white were swapped it definitely looks like it'd be perfect for the Civic Type R drivers in the World Touring Car Cup
these all came out great. All of the redesign videos have been, but I really loved these. I didn’t think Kel had room to improve but somehow they have!

Really great logos in their own right, I just don’t think they fit on new/future cars. The logos have a very 60s 70s aestethic, which is dope, just not very caresque

The first Ford logo because it streamlines the letters and evens out their sizes. The second one makes the o tiny compared to the F, R, and D.

I personally felt you were on to something better with the earlier version of the Nissan logo. Out of the whole video I only liked the Honda logomark (it was the A, the A passing the logomark irked me too much) but I really enjoyed scrubbing through the process to your work. And hey, my tastes don't matter here.

Yes, there is another way to measure rather than drawing boxes (tho I do that too).... there is a measure tool in same menu part as the eyedropper (if you click the eyedropper, you can see it to change tools) or you can add it by itself by clicking the three dots that you can see down the bottom of the sidebar

god anyone who can work illustrator I applaud. I hate illustrator with a passion lmao. maybe its due to me being more comfortable with photoshop and working with it longer than illustrator but illustrator stresses me out so much

I really like that honda logo, it loojed cool on the jump suit. It does have a bit of a European vibe to it but maybe thats just me
for those who don't know the Honda logo with the wings is for their motorcycles and ATVs and not their cars. 11:58 and yes they still do us it today just look up Honda Motorcycles

The Honda one is my favourite of the bunch, it looks classy! i love it on the shirts and jumpsuits makes me think of the sort of late 60-70's Ford V Ferrari esthetic , I feel like it could work as a logo on a watch face too if Honda did a special edition collaboration , It has that industrial/mechanical look to it.

@@KelLauren Well you do have the sort of future tech thing going on for Nissan, and keeping in the style of accessories and typical "Swag bag" kind of things it is kind of like Gillette to me, so that could be stamped on an electric razor with it having a similar logo to Conair. The Ford one I'm not too sure, i personally would thin it out and then it might go well with like an "Old Spice x Ford" soap. That's the best I've got! haha
off topic but can we talk about how their makeup is *always* on point? kel looks like an ethereal being from outer space, the vibes are simply ✨immaculate✨.

hey there lovely weirdos, I know it's 2021 but I dare to ask - are Photoshop CS6 & Illustrator CS6 still good enough for freelance graphic design??
I have them on my old PC and they run smoothly and I don't have money right now to spend it on a monster computer so I can run the newest versions.
@@mkm1015 It is :) Think of it this way: are all the logos designed on CS6 suddenly low quality and unusable? Of course not! Logos designed on CS6 a couple years ago are still fine, and therefore a logo designed on CS6 today is fine.
I honestly think that the logos don't fit the brand identity of those companies but I understand this are explorations. Overall they look great.
Ford redesign was not that dramatic, i think her idea is cool, tho Id take that design and send it to a type designer to get a smoother/stronger version of that of that IYKWIM
