    I was so scared to use the machine, but this tutorial really gave me confidence. Thanks for that!

    I only squat with barbells but want to try this. Whats 125# on this compared to a barbell?

    Can you do reverse with this? Like facing towards the back pads?

      Is that a joke? If not you definitely have very poor knowledge on gym equipment and I recommend you not use any without getting a trainer. And watch The Hodgetwins old workout videos or other people like this channel

    I’ve been going to my PF for 2 years now and I want to try squats but I’m nervous. I’m 51 with some arthritis in my knees.

      I wouldn’t do this machine to start bc it is soooo heavy without weights

      I have the same problem. I read that you can go at least 90 degrees and not lower.😅

    I hope they get one of these at mine. Doing my ghetto hack squats on the smith work ok. But i'd so much rather this.

    There is a mechanical advantage to the angle of the machine, right? I’ve been practicing sissy squats on the hack machine and I can do a few with weight… but I still can’t quite do them upright with no assistance

    • @KevTheTrainer
      @KevTheTrainer  2 місяці тому +1

      Hey there! Yes, the angle supports your back and helps you better control the movement. Being able to do sissy squats on a hack squat with weight is great work. Doing them unassisted upright is hard but with practice on the machine you’ll build the strength and control you need to do the movement. Keep it up!

    They added a different variant and people were lining up to use it haha. I wonder tho..
    Is PF going to raise the membership price?

    You need to work on your foot placement and form. Your heels are coming off the platform and your back is rounding a bit at the bottom.

    I hate their hack squat….the angle is too high it hurts my knees…..The one at Crunch Gym is better its at a lower angle and way more comfortable
