Oh my gosh but Jane is totally truth-telling here, both at 2:45 and 3:35. She delivers her comments with a smile, but you can tell she's saying exactly what she means. Those interviewers are such dolts that they either don't get it or don't care. Also, I hear that Vicki Peterson was pretty taken aback by touring with the Go-Go's, so I am NOT surprised she's relatively quiet here. She's probably recovering from the shock.
I went to a dance and met a girl who had the beat so I fell head over heels for her and we went on vacation together but we kept it a secret so our lips were sealed about it.
I'm reading Belinda's book. Yeah, this is definitely the "I was up all night doing coke" interview. I was never a cokehead but I'm sure glad my embarrassing moments weren't caught on camera and put on UA-cam.
Belinda is *still* big in the UK. her new 2007 album has done quite well there as well as all of her previous solo efforts. her US success waned when she moved to France in 1993 and stopped touring and promoting her albums here
Induct these talented musicians into the ROCK AND HALL OF FAME!! Only ALL Female Band, Song writers, paved the the way for punk bands like "Greenday" & Avril Levine. First & Only all Female band to have #1 Album!! 🎵❤ Nominate for Kennedy Center Honors!! Weren't even listed in Top 40 Punk Bands by Rolling Stone Magazine. Sinful!
Philadelphia. Pardon my outburst. They seem nice enough actually. Everyone looks a bit nervous. I take it Belinda was rather big over there? Forgot to pay for his coffe eh?.....
Belinda does look darling, she usually comes off as a bit shy in interviews, she's warm and even charming here...Jane seems a bit testy...someone needs coffee!!!Yeah, the two hosts seem more comfortable picking lint off each others' suits, BORING!!! However you slice it, 5 uber-talented broads(sans Char)also the first live show I ever attended...post-punk era.
Vicki is awesome! it was so cool she got to fill in
I love both The Go-Go's & The Bangles, it's good that they can trade members when needed.
The Bangles were awesome live. Unfortunately, as much I LOVE the Go-Go's, I've never seen them live. 😕
@@michaelgarrett8281 I think they still do the odd tour.
She had her hits. But the Go-Go's were huge, from '81 to '85. It's nice to see them still together.
go gos = epic win
Has Kathy Valentine become the babe of the band, or is it just me?
UR RIGHT AND SHE IS THE BEST GO-GO
Superbabe
I love The Go-Go's, my main fave is Gina, I love all of them, Whether it's Vicki from The Bangles or the new bassist, they're still hot as a pistol.
Gina Schock may well be the best drummer in the history of rock and roll, and Kathy Valentine the best bass player.

Why did they stick Vicki right up there at the back? Great to see her with the band. Cyndi and Gina, separated at birth?
I was thinking the same thing.

Completely agree! Have you seen recent pictures? There's no way she gave birth to her daughter that late in life and can have abs like that!
I think James Duke and Astrid is in their 30's now. Time does fly!
Kind of strange seeing Vicki Peterson of the Bangles on the Go Gos even if she's just filling in.

Ouch, Jane is not impressed with the two fools interviewing them #awkward
How does Gina sound like Cyndi? Cyndi has a heavy New Yawk accent, Gina has a heavy Baltimore accent O_O
And you can still hear those "San Fernando Valley" inflections in Belinda.
Sorchify I have relatives in Baltimore & I know Gina has a Baltimore accent.
Those brits are a bit stuffy. The girls handle it well. They don't miss a beat, no pun intened.
POR QUE NO NACISTE EN CHILEEEEEE....TE ADORO

that's not why. radio changed in the u.s. with clear channel ruining radio
Jane is R-A-G-I-N-G!
@darrinbaker00 - She surely has, I mean they all looked good and still do, but she actually looks BETTER than 30 years ago.

Vicki Peterson looks weird
Different but not weird?
MAGA!
