She is such a class act. Even being bombarded by the questions of the hosts, she still maintains her grace and dignity and doesn't make excuses for herself. She owns her actions and has turned her life around. I have the utmost respect for Ms. Carlisle and I truly hope I have the opportunity to meet her in my lifetime.
I met her briefly, but unfortunately I found I couldn't really speak much in her presence. I couldn't believe I was finally about to meet her, after a few failed attempts I thought it would never happen. I was a bit disappointed with myself for failing to express my appreciation for her music, but I think she knows how much we appreciate her and her music.
If you want to read a book about the Go-Gos, read a book about the Go-Gos. Belinda's book is not boring for someone who wants to read about Belinda, like I did. And I loved it because it's candid without revealing too much.
Belinda, Yvonne de Carlo , Linda Carter , and Catherine Bach are the most gorgeous women in the world and in Hollywood. Belinda the older she got the more beautiful she got. Very classy lady love her.

Then forced myself to read them because I wanted to read more about HER.

I am super super super excited that she's doing her new record with Rick and Ellen though. Belinda isn't a rock and roll icon. I wouldn't compare her to Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Tina Turner, or Madonna, and I don't even like her. The Go Gos is the first female band, but if your going to applaud and call Belinda an icon, call the rest of The Go Gos icons, people just pay attention to the lead singer, not the women in the background playing the music and writing the songs. I have to admit Belinda and The Go Gos were well shaped women, not fat. Belinda was beautiful and yes shapely. Now she nipped and tucked, let plastic surgery mess her up. People can't leave well enough alone. She was naturally pretty, your gonna age but you can still be pretty but nothing looks worse than aging with bad plastic surgery. And as far as the sex, drugs, rock n roll mentality, most people who did drugs start out doing it for fun than they find their doing it because of inner pain.

I love the Gogo's and esp Belinda, but it makes me sad that she does the surgery thing. She don't need that.
