My Farewell Video [Valor for 9999 plays of Charge Blade]
    ua-cam.com/video/jRBGC2_CmG0/v-deo.htmlsi=hi8J2QwyivdW73De
As told from the "Four Horsemen of Endgame Iceborne" video, this video right here is entitled with "Freestyle" meaning all uses within Charge Blade's arsenal.
Originally, I was not going to Savage Axe but due to circumstances and my personal rushing need to finish this finale segment, I decided to follow in a bit of the way using something I don't like using at all.
Fun Fact: The new PB I have for Alatreon for this video involved Sav but I did have one run not including Sav and still got the same time. [Unfortunately didn't record it]
Only 2/5 monsters here which are AT Nami and Alatreon had themselves involved with Savage Axe play.
    - AT Nami in a nutshell had 95% of SAED and 5% of Savage Axe
    - Alatreon in a nutshell had 50/50 of SAED and Savage Axe
    Meanwhile...
Only 3/5 monsters here which are Tempered Furious Rajang, AT Velk, and Fatalis had themselves involved with SAED | AED with Axe play.
    General reminder:
Axe play is not Savage Axe play because both are different.
One shreds their sharpness quickly, drains phials overtime, and requires enabling of its function.
The other is the opposite from this and has always been officially apart of the SAED | AED playstyle.
It was fun while it lasted, fellas. Any questions for me about CB, feel free to ask in any videos of MH:W. I will respond to them and provide advice or feedback on what you need to know about.
I'll be running through my remaining plays for Charge Blade until I hit 9998 plays of Charge Blade and you'll see one last video coming from me of Monster Hunter: World.
    P.S:
I will actually still post videos of MH:W only if I have requests from my friends online to do a run with them and record. [Duo, Trio, Quad, you get the point.]

I just started monster hunter this year and have 200hrs on CB. Thought i was good until i fortunately saw this vid and got humbled REAL fast. Definitely gonna watch and learn more cause that CB gameplay was straight one sided the entire time. Good vid

200 hours of Charge Blade is rather a good start for you.
Most players by now who would attempt CB simply drop out of it without trying.
If you’re willing, put in the hours to practice with it.
Whether you want to SAED like me or just Savage Axe like the others is completely up to you.
I’m basically the only player who knows Charge Blade with SAED to every Iceborne Monster which is why my videos of CB are different from many other videos of CB.

“The players aren’t forcing themselves to touch on LS, the LS is already glued to their hands before they can even pick what weapon to use.”
Charge Blade has always been the weapon that people overlook at because of the dumb complaints that I’ve read online. (Sources? The actual MH Wiki website, Reddit of all places, and many others thanks to a friend who researched them for me)
The reason why these videos were made? Debunk all that dumb crap and same time show SAED play style within Iceborne Endgame.
It’s still superior no matter what people have say about it.

This is the most satisfaying CB gameplay for me, the impact of SAED cant not be comparing to the savage mode. You have a very unique way to speedrun but very efficient and your videos make me thinking for another way to play CB, with more Axe play to the head to stun for exemple.
Of course i have question about your set because you didnt show him, i think you often play with Velkana Y armor, so you have less talent to put compare with the fatalis armor. Witch agressive talent you have without talking about peak performance of course ? Thanks for your videos man i love to watch all yours runs

    • @ProtagonistJaz
      @ProtagonistJaz  20 днів тому +2

      I appreciate your kind words.
My gameplay is not related to anything involving Savage Axe unless I use Elemental CB which you saw with AT Nami and Alatreon.
My gear is indeed Arch-Tempered Velkhana Gamma | Y.
If you wish to see my CB loadouts, I give everything within a Steam Guide which I will leave a link right here:
      steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3266899675
The whole play style of mines with Frostcraft goes as such:
It revitalizes the Old base gameplay of CB before Savage Axe was a thing.
Everything you do that isn’t Savage Axe as long as you preserve your Frostcraft meter, you will literally hit harder than a 4-pieced armor of Fatalis gear user running Savage Axe with CB. [Proof can be shown within my Steam Guide]
My FC Builds have more general layouts and uses for mantles that isn’t seen much around in game such as the A. Hood.
Gamma Velkhana gear is also embedded with a lot of skills for CB is use with mentioning of Axe play being “Critical Draw” and one where you mentioned already, “Peak Performance.” Peak is important for CB because it has additional attack that can increase your damage + your Artillery. [Since it is level 3 only]
You also get free “Focus” at level 3 which I’m aware most CB users who aren’t mains don’t bother running “Focus” and it’s stupid to me. Lastly, you have “Coalescence” for additional ATK boost, “Resuscitate” for guaranteed dodges and helps your stamina, and Quick Sheathe for comfort of putting away your CB.
Don’t need to pressure yourself at all with Sav Axe. It’s pointless if you run my FC builds.
Soon or later after I’m done with CB goal, I’ll reupdate my guide on my builds again so that its final state can be shown.

@@R-TypeSanctium Without Focus 3, you cripple yourself.
Without Guard 5 too, you cripple yourself.
The whole point of CB is to be fluent and fast with your attacks and Guard Point to save yourself from major attacks.
You can’t rely on Evade most of the time when your shield can block everything for you when you have Guard Up. [Example being AT Namielle’s attacks with Water + Thunder mixture explosive attacks, you require Guard 5 to block multiple of them, Not Guard 4, 3, 2, and 1. Only Guard 5]
Make it easy too with building phials by providing yourself Focus 3.
Even on my Steam guide, I provide a Fatalis 4-piece use for CB where I have Focus 3 as a Charm and input all the needed usage of Jewels into the build just to do enough damage where:
      - It can also hit 1k of Initial strikes with SAED
      - Phial Damage can go above 200+ with use of Peak Performance, Agitator, ATK only at level 4, and Felyne Bombardier.

Either you run SAED like me or Sav Axe like the rest, you need Focus 3 for Charge Blade.
Like I said, without Focus 3, you cripple yourself.
Power Prolonger is what Sav Axe users run with, sure.
But if you ever noticed within the Alatreon Run, my build doesn't run with Power Prolonger but I still used Sav Axe for the remaining 50% of hp he had left on him.
50% hp gone from SAED and 50% hp gone from Sav Axe.
So really, it's up to your choosing and if you really need it for comfort, feel free.

And how many time you need to perfectly know each monster and each placement to counter like this, do you always have 5 paladin to guard point on each set ?
However your knowlege about each monster and when to counter is the most impressive for me

    • @ProtagonistJaz
      @ProtagonistJaz  20 днів тому +2

When you have over thousands of hours invested into the game, I’d say it’ll be a while.
How I would suggest if you wish to be learning CB with each monster is to take your time with one of them at each step.
Fully understand one monster, complete hunts with at first your Palico if need to, then remove your Palico for a True solo to test if you can handle it on your own, and repeat the same process for everything.
      Or…
You can simply go out in SOSes to practice but I highly suggest avoid getting carried by high ranks and try to sustain yourself into carrying the team for yourself if you could.
      Also,
All my builds run on Guard 5.
Within Endgame Iceborne, you need Guard Up with Guard 5.
Guard 4 and below is garbage.
A lot of people run Guard 1 with CB just to Savage Axe but it’s really pointless since all it is Evade gameplay and crippling yourself to not block anything that you can literally Guard Point with having a shield.
I suggest you not follow the idea of having Guard 1 - 4.
Keep it at Guard 5 for Guard Pointing and giving yourself some evasion for comfort.
Guard Point allows you ignore damage depending on which attack that is delivered from the monster.
If it’s a continuous attack, you’ll be invincible to it until the monster stops that attack.
If it’s a attack separately used as each hitting point, then you need to Guard Point them all.
[An example being Lunastra’s tail sweep attacks. They’re separate hits for two swings so you have to guard point them both unlike Teostra where one guard point would allow you to not get damage by his second tail swing]
      I hope this information helps.

Ignoring the first 3 parts of the Twenty Endgame Iceborne Monsters [Since I never really had any struggles with them at all, honestly]:
      - Tempered Furious Rajang is really damn easy. [Since he’s literally my favorite monster that I invested on 24/7]
      - Alatreon is really damn easy too and never had I struggled with him at all. [Unless you mention about my noob days, sure. I did struggle with him only because like many, didn’t figure the simple factor of bringing Element after few matches]
      - AT Velkhana is my second invested in Monster, I practiced her daily and since then, never had I struggled with her [Unless I’m fighting her while having to speed run, annoying to do so]
      - I rarely invest in Fatalis but was the only CB to figure out all SAED openers for him. [For proof, check out my Steam guide and sure, there are individuals who did Fatalis SAED but I like to say that I do it better because everybody would just Savage Axe him]
      - AT Namielle was my main struggle.
Getting 6’59 was not easy for many reasons:
      1. Thing is fast asf. Hardly no openers for CB SAED (Except for 5 that I know)
      2. You’re running Ele CB. Your main play is SAED if you want full damage. As you saw from the video, if he doesn’t have water, you can Savage Axe it until he drinks up water again and you switch back to SAED. [I tried many attempts not to Sav Axe but since it likes to take too long just to sip water, I had no choice but to do so now]
      3. Fatalis was more a joke than it was with AT Nami hence why now I take AT Namielle more seriously than Fatalis.
I don’t like Fatalis at all. lmao

@@Joooser It takes time to understand it, I played with every single weapon, and in all honesty, I prefer Charge Blade than all of them.
With one comment that I mentioned when you're playing as a CB:
      - Start it off with a Palico for assistance by having it sleep or paralyze the monster for you.
      - Once you get hang of it, remove the Palico and handle it on your own. [Every match I run through, I never once have a Palico. Ever notice other videos of CB running good times but they always have a Palico by their side as CB?]
      - Then you repeat the same with one monster at a time just like taking a step up the stairs at a time.
You'll get there. I'm literally aware that most of my viewers aren't CB mains at all. I'm generally like the only one within MH:W so that's why I showed myself. lol
I'm not gonna be playin' on World any longer and I'm still debating about Wilds, they made CB wayyy too Savage Axe heavy on the playstyle.
