My Farewell Video [Valor for 9999 plays of Charge Blade] ua-cam.com/video/jRBGC2_CmG0/v-deo.htmlsi=hi8J2QwyivdW73De As told from the "Four Horsemen of Endgame Iceborne" video, this video right here is entitled with "Freestyle" meaning all uses within Charge Blade's arsenal. Originally, I was not going to Savage Axe but due to circumstances and my personal rushing need to finish this finale segment, I decided to follow in a bit of the way using something I don't like using at all. Fun Fact: The new PB I have for Alatreon for this video involved Sav but I did have one run not including Sav and still got the same time. The other is the opposite from this and has always been officially apart of the SAED | AED playstyle. It was fun while it lasted, fellas. Any questions for me about CB, feel free to ask in any videos of MH:W. I will respond to them and provide advice or feedback on what you need to know about. [Proof can be shown within my Steam Guide] My FC Builds have more general layouts and uses for mantles that isn’t seen much around in game such as the A. Hood. Gamma Velkhana gear is also embedded with a lot of skills for CB is use with mentioning of Axe play being “Critical Draw” and one where you mentioned already, “Peak Performance.” Peak is important for CB because it has additional attack that can increase your damage + your Artillery. [Since it is level 3 only] You also get free “Focus” at level 3 which I’m aware most CB users who aren’t mains don’t bother running “Focus” and it’s stupid to me. Lastly, you have “Coalescence” for additional ATK boost, “Resuscitate” for guaranteed dodges and helps your stamina, and Quick Sheathe for comfort of putting away your CB. And how many time you need to perfectly know each monster and each placement to counter like this, do you always have 5 paladin to guard point on each set ? However your knowlege about each monster and when to counter is the most impressive for me
When you have over thousands of hours invested into the game, I’d say it’ll be a while. How I would suggest if you wish to be learning CB with each monster is to take your time with one of them at each step. Fully understand one monster, complete hunts with at first your Palico if need to, then remove your Palico for a True solo to test if you can handle it on your own, and repeat the same process for everything. Or… You can simply go out in SOSes to practice but I highly suggest avoid getting carried by high ranks and try to sustain yourself into carrying the team for yourself if you could. Also, All my builds run on Guard 5. Within Endgame Iceborne, you need Guard Up with Guard 5. Guard 4 and below is garbage. A lot of people run Guard 1 with CB just to Savage Axe but it’s really pointless since all it is Evade gameplay and crippling yourself to not block anything that you can literally Guard Point with having a shield. I suggest you not follow the idea of having Guard 1 - 4. Keep it at Guard 5 for Guard Pointing and giving yourself some evasion for comfort. Guard Point allows you ignore damage depending on which attack that is delivered from the monster. If it’s a continuous attack, you’ll be invincible to it until the monster stops that attack. If it’s a attack separately used as each hitting point, then you need to Guard Point them all. [An example being Lunastra’s tail sweep attacks. They’re separate hits for two swings so you have to guard point them both unlike Teostra where one guard point would allow you to not get damage by his second tail swing] I hope this information helps.
