i bought the hardware to reverse mirrors only to realized my handle bars (Baron Custom H-Bar) are tappered (get thicker towards middle) and i can't move in my levers in because of this.
Wow..... Raven..... that brake handle issue is not good,, .... You should be able to two-finger the brake from within 2 cm's of pull from full-out ....not the full 6 cm's and pin your fingers..... Air in the brake-line ??? ... bleed the front brakes...... Or you might need new pads on the front wheel ?? I'm guessing front pads need replacing...... That brake lever should never trap your right hand....ever. Also for the Clutch lever ..... you want to have 5 mm's of slack on the pull of the lever cable before you feel the spring tension of the return spring force So . when you slightly pull in on the clutch handle.... there should be 5 mm's of free-play before the clutch starts to release ... so double check that as well. Ok ? Stay Safe
