Can I just tap the bar end weight from the start if I don’t have a welder? Why do you leave them 3/8th out if you’re pushing the grip flush? Are those Rizoma mirrors? Thanks for the video.
Hi, I suppose you could. I just wanted to drill and tap a nice square hole. I left them out 3/8 so that they would stick out a little past the end of the grip. The grip goes back in the same spot. I suppose you could stack washers up to make up the difference. The only one that is important is the throttle. Be sure to use lots of oil and patience when drilling and tapping. As far as the mirrors I used, I don’t remember. The bike fell onto the side of my trailer and broke one of them so I replaced them with a much better mirror. I’ll post a link later. Thanks for your comment! A glad you enjoyed the video!
DM, here are I believe the ones I have now. If you get these be sure to adjust them where they don’t hit the tank. Mine are real close but about 1/4” away. a.co/d/3amBXvF
Bro you have the best video explanation. I was going to put my mirrors but realized the handle had that little things inside the bar
Great video man. Looking to do this on my own bolt soon

What did u use to create the threaded hole on the weights? Also can you send me a link for those mirrors. Thanks.
I had a drill bit and tap to make the hole and thread it. It is an M8x1.25 Tap and corresponding drill bit.
