3:06 Look at how emotional and spirituality involved Keith Jackson is while he's talking to Bob Griese about how good the U is. You can tell this man loved college football and his job & I can't believe I allowed my childhood and adolescence to be deprived of this man on ABC. I wished I would've watched more games, growing up, but I was playing football. What a voice. What dedication. RIP, sir.

In three consecutive weeks in 1992, Miami beat Arizona, Florida State and Penn State by a total of 7 points!

The FSU game was one of the most brutal games I've ever seen. Miami was exhausted in this game and it showed. By the 4th quarter though, so was Penn State.

This was the first time Keith Jackson had done a game at Penn State since 1985 which is why he keeps talking about how nice it is to "be back" in Happy Valley. ABC only did Big 10 and Pac 10 games from 1987-90 and Penn State was an independent back then so their home games fell under the CFA contract that CBS had.

Interesting story. I attended the Penn State football camp as a LB in 1993. We’d train during the day and return to our dorms to shower. We didn’t have showers in our rooms so everyone had to shower in one area. The ONLY coach who showered with the players was Jerry Sandusky. To be fair, I didn’t see him do anything and the guy was one hell of a coach. However, when I found out that he’d been raping boys for decades I immediately remembered him showering with us during that football camp and it freaked me out!!

Saint Michael: What kind of coach he was is now completely irrelevant.

DadeStar Mysteries- I didn’t say it was relevant. I think the man is one of the worst human beings to have ever lived and I hope he burns in HELL!!

I’m a Miami fan, however I have to agree with you. I was shocked that he won it. His stats were ok. He won because he had only lost one time in his college career.

How deep was Miami? Warren Sapp was a back up on this team

On the OL not at all; they had a converted TE who was 239 lbs. Even though they had Sapp on the bench, their DL lost it's star Rusty Medearis to a season ending injury in September.

Nice to see them to give praise to Jerry Sandusky on the sideline

3rd week in a row for Miami that if their opponents could simply make a FG they wouldve lost or tied! They beat Arizona 8-7 of a missed FG final play, then FSU 19-16 missed FG final play, andvthis game Penn st missed 3 FG under 40 yards

Their schedule was BRUTAL in 1992. How many teams today would schedule Arizona, FSU, and Penn State in consecutive weeks?

Saint Michael - The two seasons Miami played Arizona.....they were 4-7 (1991) and 6-5-1 (1992). Lets not get carried away.

Brandi lord - Really? #11 UCLA was a fraud and finished 6-5. #1 Washington faded down the stretch and lost its last 2 games to finish 10-3. #8 Stanford finished 10-3. Arizona finished losing its last 3 games to USC (6-5), ASU (6-5), and Baylor (7-5). My point is Arizona was very inconsistent- capable of playing with anyone or losing to anyone on its schedule.

I can attest Torretta was weak. Played against him in highschool same league in the Eastbay(RBAL) He telegraphed ALL his passes but threw them HARD and FAST. During warm ups 1st time we played Pinole I thought he was an OT he was soo big.

Weak Gino Weak running game spoiled the back to back. Defense was Championship level AGAIN. Hurricane legacy is DEFENSE! I see Kid Porn Sandusky stalking the sideline.
