@@akshayram1211 Light Malt Extract (LME) is dehydrated sugar typically made from malted barley. In mushroom cultivation it is used in sterile medias as a nutritional supplement mycelium uses as food/energy.
It would not colonize no more in syringe after you fill it up same as it did in the jar?

Hey Steve! Feel free to DM any time :) AS far as the stir plate, we specifically use this model because it has heat and speed dials, and they work very well. Honestly, the only problem we've had with them so far is that they don't ship them with any kind of protection, so sometimes we get a unit with a rod missing or a dent. But they work awesome otherwise. I'll let the wifey know! Thank you!

So extra 1qt water boil in microwave 3 times add 1tsb. Corn syrup or light cs put lid on while hot when cooled inject or add agar wedge

Can you turn spores from a spor syringe inti liquid culture?
Hey there. It's not recommended to do this. Spores can be put onto agar, and then into liquid culture to ensure there's no contamination.

@@sjewitt22 The way spores are collected is not typically sterile, so the spore print that the spore syringe and water/spore solution was made with could sometimes possibly contain contaminants. Another reason, is that spores from a ms syringe wouldn't be ideal for LC in that it would be muiltispore so you would have uneven mushroom production and would have to do further work to isolate a desired specimen.

If you end up with clumpy LC because you didn't use a stir bar can't you still mix it up with the stir bar?
So I just have a comment, 20 grams of lme & dextrose for 2000ml of water is in my experience a low % of nutrients, we are talking about 1% concentration. I've seen your instagram and those fruits look awesome. Don't you recommend to be at a 4% of lme/dex for better results and a faster and vigorous grow on the LC? Thanks and Mush love

To be completely honest 1% is what we personally run:) we’ve always had banging results. The reason I wouldn’t go higher is because there’s a greater chance of caramelizing your media. You can use things like hf corn syrup, honey, or sourghum syrup if you wish a higher concentration but remember that nothing is wrong, ever. Playing with ratios is what brings you the results you desire! Cheers mate and thanks for sharing🙏🙌
I've gone all the way up to 10% and didn't see any noticeable benefits, so I keep it low.

This guy is great! But he left out some of easy alternatives for food! You can use light corn syrup, or my favorite, malt extract! Also, mushrooms aren’t plants, vegans are not allowed to eat them, I HAVE DECLARED IT SO!!!!!
