condivido in pieno il tuo commento. se avesse fatto come ricky rubio, giocare magari in spagna in una squadra competitiva in campionato ACB e eurolega sotto un grande allenatore (un nome a caso ettore messina) sarebbe stato meglio. ma sai quando ci sono bei sodli di mezzo, è difficile rinunciare
@Trulyloyale Yes I agree. Talent wise they were very good but a team is more than individual players. Having "The Answer" and Marbury as guards was a very bad idea because they both are ball hogs. I respect Italy that they beat an All-Star USA team I am just saying that, comparatively this was the 2nd worst USA team after that god awful 2002 team. Also LBJ, Wade and Anthony were all rookies than so they were not the same players as today. I hope the Azzurri qualify this year for a rematch.
@Trulyloyale No matter how great America is at basketball they are not going to win every single year. This was a weak USA team and for that Olympics Italy was a better team winning silver while the USA won bronze. Yet considering this game is the only friendly the USA has EVER lost with NBA players and this 2004 was the only Olympics the USA didn't win with NBA players I wouldn't belittle USA basketball. Italy basketball wasn't even around for 2008 and 2010.
