  • The only foam in this camper is for insulation; this is made solid! Follow along as I start figuring out and faming up the floor, then water proof the bottom. A little show and tell as things I ordered show up too.

    You need a stiff broom when laying EPDM (roofing rubber). It's the best way of getting it to lay flat, and of removing any bubbles.

    Looks like you are using Albert Bateman's (Oregon Batman) plans. Are you building to his exact plans or did you increase the width?

      Yes I'm using Al's plans, but my frame is 8" wider. Which means I'm using twice the plywood. Maybe next time I'll look into 5x10 sheets. It has been $$$$!

    Love the idea of rubber membrane on the bottom. I never thought of this. Will incorporate in my build starting 11/15/21
