The Marvel Legends team is just killing it this year. This is an absolutely gorgeous She-Hulk. We’re not even half way through 2024, and I can already say that for me, this is the line’s best year since 2019.
I absolutely cannot WAIT until they make a Fantastic Four version using this body! This one is going to look excellent on my Avengers shelf, too. Loved Jen since I was a kid, and am happy to finally see her done justice. Solid review as always, thanks! 💪😎
Me too. Hasbro did do an interchangeable outfit with their SDCC Exclusive She-Hulk back in 2007. But hopefully they make a better one this time around.

That would be pretty sweet, especially if paired with a solid comic version Matt Murdock (although I took a retro-carded JJJ body and the extra retro-carded DD Matt head and made a little kit bash version of Matt, so if we don't get a lawyer MM/DD figure, I'm okay with just getting a sweet Shulkie figure...
I don't even have a She Hulk action figure but for me, She is a must have because I like the beautiful head sculpt and that onesie looks great and my friend might get me her so she can go cool with the Avengers.
Sensational review as always, XM! I do beg to differ however on one minor point. This version of She-Hulk looks more in the style of Big John Buscema's late 80's Avengers run than John Byrne's version. I agree Byrne drew Jen better than anyone ever, but if you look at Big John's Avengers run, this figure stepped out of the pages even more so than Byrne's version. The costume choice in particular. Pre FF she wore typically tattered clothes then more 80's work out inspired clothes, even with leg warmers. This is her suit after she left the FF -pretty- much. I also understand sculptors have some limitations on facial features - Byrne's had fuller lips, larger eyes, and often had dimples- but I agree, this is a home run on Hasbro's part. I also cant wait to see Titania, Red She Hulk, Fantastic Four She-Hulk on this awesome body as well! Heck, I'd love to see a huge jacked up giantess as a BAF from a few years back, too!
Totally agree. This is almost 100% Buscema's She-Hulk. An FF repaint would look great on this body, but I think the MCU Body mold is closer to Byrne's depiction of the character. But it's likely they will use this one.
The smile on the head sculpt is exactly what I’ve been wanting to see on a She Hulk figure considering the only other superhero-outfit She Hulk with a smiling face is the Fin Fang Foom BAF series (or whatever it was) from decades ago back in the dark days of Marvel Legends. Agreed. Disney has been trashing everything they touch in their efforts to forcibly push the woke agenda on everyone. I just stopped watching their crap and I even quit collecting the comics, because Marvel has been doing the same thing for years, and completely killed my interest in the X-Men titles along with pretty much all the other titles I used to collect... it's fine though, because I enjoy the older stuff, from 2005 (maybe?) on back, so I don't need to buy the new stuff. Plus it saves me a lot of money that I can spend on sweet action figures like this one 😅...!

Hopefully in the near future we can get FF blue and white costume and some of the other ones. The possibility have been a true sight to see. Maybe they even use this sculpt for Thundra ? I’m would like to see new Valkyrie comic version and Cat beast to get the secret Avengers team as well…
Its been a while since I've been excited for a Marvel Legends figure, but this is definitely it. I love the bright green skin. I wish we could get a classic Hulk with that skin color.
Seeing those size comparisons, I think Fantastic 4 desperately needs an update. Digital print on faces, modern female body for Sue Storm and I think Ben Grimm (the Thing) needs a whole revamp with a completely new sculpt. Plus seeing how Jada Toys have implemented stretchy limbs on Dhalsim, it would be nice if Hasbro applied the same stuff to Mr Fantastic
I collected most of John Byrne's She-Hulk run back in the day and I still have some issues in my collection. Byrne's She-Hulk was never this muscular 😂. Byrne's She-Hulk was that of a toned, in-shape female. This figure is out'n out *RIPPED* 😂🔥. CANT WAIT TO SEE THIS ONE ON THE PEGS❤❤❤
Re: the height of this She-Hulk versus the modern version, I think they’re basically the same height if you account for the hair and the boots on the retro version. Very much looking forward to an F4 version which will hopefully be coming soon.
Now we really need Titania to go with this, she would need to have spikes sculpted on the arms. Other characters I think they could use this body mold for are Red She Hulk, Thundra, Hela, Stunner, Anaconda, Caiera, Warrior Woman, Frenzy, Vulcana, Man-Killer, Quicksand, and they could finally release Lyra.
I think Titania is a matter of when and not if at this point. Secret Wars hype is going to be playing a major role in the OG comic designs for the next few years to come. I would love an updated Valkyrie, Thundra, and hell I think Anaconda and Man-Killer could work on this mold.
We also recently got Razorback last year, who was a pretty frequent ally to She-Hulk and even helped her fight Xemnu. I’m quite curious to see how they will look together.
Agreed! This She-Hulk is Sensational!! Looks like fans will continue eating well this year. Some of the more savage beat-downs I can recall her giving were due to people ruining her clothes... "Do you know how hard it is to find nice clothes in my size?!?!" Definitely wish they had given her the inverted ab crunch or lower diaphragm ball joint. The belt line would have been the perfect spot! I can only think of two (possibly three) more She-Hulk looks - FF uniform, court/business attire, and possibly regular Jen Walters (even just a head we could swap out on a regular female body)...

Glad I preordered mine. This is THE, She-Hulk I’ve always wanted. Every other one before, was just a no. This looks great. I knew the hair would limit articulation, but I’m happy with it, as it’s the best look for he. Her sizing and scale is really well done. Perfect shade of green too. Solid review.
Love these Retrocarded figures!! Am sure Hasbro felt the Pinch when they had those none window packaging!! Hasbro has been killing it!! Yes that She Hulk looks insane. The only thing is that I feel like the green is a little bit too light. Imo!

What a fantastic figure, I definitely want this in the FF colours now too. Since they have given us such an awesome big female buck now they have to use it. We need Titania, Volcana, Thundra and Red Shehulk all in this size. 👍
Anaconda would have to be a lot thicker. She was more on the chubby side. Same as Volcana just depends which version. But I can see the rest you mentioned.
I preordered this last month. I'm disappointed the suit is maroon, I think it's purple on the prototype. Anyway, I'm glad the skin tone is still vibrant.
Wow! I thought like you did. Bigger than Power Princess? Damn. I agree the face and hair is top three of Marvel Legends. I like white Electra big hair too. Wonder if you can modify that torso to get more range. I would have liked more emotive hands like peace hands, thumbs up or down, maybe even a pointing finger…all to represent her breaking the fourth wall ability and commenting to the audience. Dang I gotta pull out that Marvel Select She Hulk and see how they compare. I love that car with the dust pillars accessory that came with the select figure. This looks to be a fine figure. Bring on Red Betty, Titania, Anaconda with swappable long/bendy arms like Mr. Fantastic (maybe too big a buck for her), and maybe a Quicksand(?) as options. I bet she fits that 80th anniversary Hulk ground pound base better than Hulk does. Dang none of our gamma giants can do a thunderclap yet.
She hulk has never been on the list for me, buuuuttt... they have done such an excellent figure. The whole reason I collect some mythic legions, if the sculpt is great I'll be convinced to grab one.
I waited a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time for a She-hulk figure like this. And I will have her on Friday. YAY. She will likely be the 2nd female that will get on my top ten list. Well maybe three, I'm still debating on Wasp. But Power princess and She-hulk are happening.
This figure looks really GOOOD. Really tempting. But this isn't my preferred design, I'm waiting for some repaints in the future in the design like the one in A-Force or my essential design for her they could upgrade it since they did make her in baf of blob back in the dark age of marvel legends xp

Crazy how hasbro still can't get a double ball peg right. The bottom part that meets with the neck should be larger. Small part goes into the head. Seriously hasbro needs new team members and a price drop.

This one repainted in her fantastic four outfit seems like a given.I would also love one of her as a lawyer but she would need new tooling for high heels .maybe as a comic con or online exclusive.
Didn't realize she's that much taller than Power Princess! I do think PP is still a better sculpt, She Hulkie looks a bit too ripped esp around the abs area.
An argument could be made for why the inverted ab crunch wouldn't work with this figure. It's that hair. So you get her bent way down, then what? She can't look up, so what kind of poses can you really do with that? (Having her do sit-ups?)
That isn't my favorite She-Hulk uniform, but she is one of my favorite Marvel characters. I'm liking what they did with the sculpt. I like the big John Bryne style hair, and size. I'm tempted to get this figure I'll wait for the middle stripe uniform from Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3. I only see my self getting this figure if it's on sale, or if the next She-Hulks have different hair sculpts or expressions. Then I will need this one for head swaps/variety.
Definitely, DEFINITELY, gotta have the FF version of this figure!!! This turned out great but I would have preferred the version of her onesie with the white collar, similar to the SDCC version, or the previous Toybiz(?) version, which I was hoping you might compare her with since I have that one.... this one is still pretty great though, and no doubt Hasbro will pop THAT version out as some damned exclusive or a 2/5pk with some other $#!t figure(s) once we've all bought this version up, lol... Now, if we can just get a freaking TITANIA AND VOLCANA, along with updates of the 4 Wrecking Crew guys, so we can finally get near to finishing out the OG Secret Wars comics cast of characters, since we finally got Molecule Man, Ultron, Lizard, Doom and Captain Marvel aka Photon, not terribly long ago... That would still leave us needing a proper Rogue, Beyonder, and Izaje (or whatever the healer's name was that Johnny and Colossus went gaga over, lol), but we're very close now.
God, yes, give us a FF She-Hulk, Hasbro! Sooner, rather than later! Also, I have to agree that nobody draws Jen better than Byrne. When I think of She-Hulk, his is the artwork I picture.
Modern is barefoot, so I guess you can make the case they are relative the same height, now taking into account boots and that hair the new one will be clearly a taller figure.
They did do one many years ago but it was too much of a staction figure. Maybe they would do better now but I was never a fan of their articulation style.

Anaconda would have to be a lot thicker. She was more on the chubby side. Same as Volcana just depends which version. But I can see the rest you mentioned.
While I agree, she looks almost perfect, I cannot forgive the lack of reverse ab crunch and butterflies. I'll give har a solid 8

I preordered this last month. I'm disappointed the suit is maroon, I think it's purple on the prototype. Anyway, I'm glad the skin tone is still vibrant.

Wow! I thought like you did. Bigger than Power Princess? Damn. I agree the face and hair is top three of Marvel Legends. I like white Electra big hair too. Wonder if you can modify that torso to get more range. I would have liked more emotive hands like peace hands, thumbs up or down, maybe even a pointing finger…all to represent her breaking the fourth wall ability and commenting to the audience. Dang I gotta pull out that Marvel Select She Hulk and see how they compare. I love that car with the dust pillars accessory that came with the select figure. This looks to be a fine figure. Bring on Red Betty, Titania, Anaconda with swappable long/bendy arms like Mr. Fantastic (maybe too big a buck for her), and maybe a Quicksand(?) as options. I bet she fits that 80th anniversary Hulk ground pound base better than Hulk does. Dang none of our gamma giants can do a thunderclap yet.

I waited a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time for a She-hulk figure like this. And I will have her on Friday. YAY. She will likely be the 2nd female that will get on my top ten list. Well maybe three, I'm still debating on Wasp. But Power princess and She-hulk are happening.

This figure looks really GOOOD. Really tempting. But this isn't my preferred design, I'm waiting for some repaints in the future in the design like the one in A-Force or my essential design for her they could upgrade it since they did make her in baf of blob back in the dark age of marvel legends xp
I thought the gun was just something you grabbed from a GI Joe Classified figure....since those are often warped out the package 😅

Man, i wish they could make a Fantastic Four costume of She Hulk. That would be a worthy addition to my Fantastic Four member. Not just She-hulk, Medusa and Ant-Man as well with all fantastic four costumes. Do it, hasbro!

I think F4 is a given. Just depends how long Hasbro decides to give us one. I remember the classic Savage She-Hulk back in the 2008 Fin Fang Foom BAF wave that had a fabric torn dress. Hopefully they give us soft goods again this time around.

Crazy how hasbro still can't get a double ball peg right. The bottom part that meets with the neck should be larger. Small part goes into the head. Seriously hasbro needs new team members and a price drop.
Finally we got a good looking comic version of She Hulk! Though I have to wait till she is available in my country… but I can’t wait to put her alongside the rest of AVENGERS

This one repainted in her fantastic four outfit seems like a given.I would also love one of her as a lawyer but she would need new tooling for high heels .maybe as a comic con or online exclusive.
I remember that was the San Diego Comic Con exclusive back in 2007 with her lawyer suit which you were able to put over her Fantastic 4 outfit
Didn't realize she's that much taller than Power Princess! I do think PP is still a better sculpt, She Hulkie looks a bit too ripped esp around the abs area.

An argument could be made for why the inverted ab crunch wouldn't work with this figure. It's that hair. So you get her bent way down, then what? She can't look up, so what kind of poses can you really do with that? (Having her do sit-ups?)
That isn't my favorite She-Hulk uniform, but she is one of my favorite Marvel characters. I'm liking what they did with the sculpt. I like the big John Bryne style hair, and size.
I'm tempted to get this figure I'll wait for the middle stripe uniform from Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3.
I only see my self getting this figure if it's on sale, or if the next She-Hulks have different hair sculpts or expressions. Then I will need this one for head swaps/variety.

Definitely, DEFINITELY, gotta have the FF version of this figure!!! This turned out great but I would have preferred the version of her onesie with the white collar, similar to the SDCC version, or the previous Toybiz(?) version, which I was hoping you might compare her with since I have that one.... this one is still pretty great though, and no doubt Hasbro will pop THAT version out as some damned exclusive or a 2/5pk with some other $#!t figure(s) once we've all bought this version up, lol...
Now, if we can just get a freaking TITANIA AND VOLCANA, along with updates of the 4 Wrecking Crew guys, so we can finally get near to finishing out the OG Secret Wars comics cast of characters, since we finally got Molecule Man, Ultron, Lizard, Doom and Captain Marvel aka Photon, not terribly long ago... That would still leave us needing a proper Rogue, Beyonder, and Izaje (or whatever the healer's name was that Johnny and Colossus went gaga over, lol), but we're very close now.
God, yes, give us a FF She-Hulk, Hasbro! Sooner, rather than later!

Modern is barefoot, so I guess you can make the case they are relative the same height, now taking into account boots and that hair the new one will be clearly a taller figure.

They did do one many years ago but it was too much of a staction figure. Maybe they would do better now but I was never a fan of their articulation style.
