I love how positive your reviews are, you seem genuinely excited to have the figure and all your nitpicks/complaints are totally vaild and don't take up the entire video run time. I feel like nowadays marvel legends reviews are just a 10-20 minute nitpick compilation, even with good figures lol. Yours was a breath of fresh air!
I’m getting this figure in the mail today and I’m going to hopefully get a hobby knife and gundam pen soon to make the repulsors actually be functional, and to make the lines pop and be more like the comics
I have about 4 Iron Man figures and my friends are getting me 2 more but I think this Iron Man armor looks really cool especially how he is sculpted and looking accurate to the artwork on the package, Overall, Fantastic review on him.
I wish they gave him like the reverse ab crunch for extra range, that waist cut is just ugly where it breaks the sculpt and not really necessary when you can turn him using the diaphragm joint.
This is my favorite Iron-Man armor. I was a huge fan of New Avengers when Brian Michael Bendis was writing. I definitely think that the figure needed a removable/flip-up face plate. He also needed some repulsor hands. Hasbro has made static repulsor hands on other Iron-Man figures. They need to give him three sets of hands like Spider-Man if they aren't going to go all the way with articulation. 10 years later and Hasbro is still in ToyBiz shadow for marvel legends
good review bro congrats on the scene, it looks fab to review in a proper context I admit I m content with my 80th gold red movie version, could nt resist the metal retro though, but this one appeals to me too, yeah, a great evolution of style and tech look. I m not the guy to get multiple armours only the punisher version can tempt me now, or perhaps a cap am version, a Fury sr version? then all my 4 fav heroes could battle in armour as a team, vs Ultron and Dr doom, I d see that. but no more iron mans. yeah, your trio looks great! I love to see my punisher, cap am and iron man together, but now... I have Fury sr coming! man, I want to see that for so long [2020] my fav 4, with shield agents to support, the 3 pack, sadly, dum dum died... I ll replace him with... classified Gung ho s head perhaps? Duke? ha, ha, we ll see. a 2nd pack on clearance would be a blessing, D so now you know... good show bro
The figure is great, probably best mold iron man we can get. Issue is the type of armor this iron man has. We need this new mold in a modern iron man suit. Idk why Hasbro is soo backwards but we really need to start adding alternate maskless heads in figures that have faces coverd.
This is the perfect rendition of a 2000s Iron Man armor from the comics. Extremis takes the spotlight a bit too much due to obvious reasons, but Model 20 (tin Man) is, immediately followed by Model 24 (the Iron Secretary armor), the very first Iron Man armor to depict the "segmented armor plate" look. No other armor before it had attempted that look. You could argue that Model 16 (the Heroes Return, Ross/Busiek armor) was a bit of a hybrid of a muscle/plated look, but the full-blown segmented armor started with this one.
I can see it being frustrating for some because of the limited articulation, but he’s not Spider-Man the dudes in a suit of armor, so I can understand why the articulation isn’t all that great.
I'm an older fan, but I think you can call this the Tin Man armor and it should be the same design as the ToyBiz Modern armor. Hopefully, using that term, many people will catch your drift.
I cut my repulsar hands and though I don’t like to mod my figures , it was minor and I don’t plan on selling them so yeah … if it bothers me that much I can buy another one and keep it in the box but yeah now this is my main Ironman
I wonder if a torso mod is possible to extend the range or will the ribs hinder the forward crunch? I agree that the waist swivel seems redundant now they've added a torso swivel and the added butterfly joint doesn't seem to improve the range either as far as I can tell. The ball joint on the lower neck doesn't serve anything either due to the collar piece. It's a step up in the design department but two steps back in the articulation. Good review btw dude.

My most hated figure in my whole collection. Articulation is like a 2/10, especially the hands and the extras you get are just lazy imo. The blasters sit too far out and are missing the blaster effects.

Or better yet, wait till the whole wave to end up at your nearest Ross or Ollies for the more bigger prices cuts.

I agree could’ve been a very articulate iron man figure. Hopefully the pentagon armor will be peak articulation and not a pure repaint.

For me, both of them works well for that era. I think I was more used to see the extremis armor since I started to read comics around 2009

this is rare and wrong, named model 20, but it is the Pentagon Design colored the torso like model 20
People probably would have got mad if the elbow point was painted yellow because then it takes a pinless design and makes it look like it’s not.
