I am so suprised and really mind blown by Zabu. At this point this has to be the best baf of 2024. Looks really intimidating and scary even as an action figure, I'm getting almost the whole wave except this dark thor, so I have to buy zabu's head on it's own but man I really want to have this one. GREAT review as always, you did become one of the best action figure reviewers in my book. Really underrated. I even wished you could go back to some older marvel legends and review them just for a heck of it Xp
That is a very detailed research of Ka-Zar's history. I first looked in a book in the mid 70's & was amazed. I'm going to use a bandage & make wraps to cover the silly forearms. 😂
If we get shanna it might be with a sauron rerelease with fuzzy eyebrows. I don't really need another sauron so I'd be bummed if that was the case given how much I spent trying to put mine together

That one's also pretty well articulated. You almost made me choke with the "Naked, sexy Sauron" bit. I'd just started drinking some water when that came on... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for your review Xmanny. Astonishing Tales used to have a Ka-Zar run in the early-mid 70's that introduced the character to a lot of younger fans. These comics enabled collectors to go back into the characters history and discover his adventures with the X-Men and DD. A Marvel twist on a Edgar Rice Burroughs epics. Hasbro ML did a decent job with Ka-Zar. It helps that he is dressed in primitive garb without any accessories other then a spear and a knife. But Zabu is hella dope. ML did a fantastic job with this pussy. Finally one off the wish list.
You didn’t get the SDCC pack back in the day? Yeah it’s dated and the animated angular Tiger body is very stylized. But it was the best at that time. It’s alright. This BAF is quite superior and the Kazar is very good too. I really dislike the Vulcan forearms. Only use it on figures you will paint Hasbro. I’m going to try some Articulated Icons arm wraps on Kazar. Wade’s solution was cool with Fang’s claw arm wraps. It still doesn’t fix the lake of muscle definition in the forearms. Just crap. Zabu has to be Hasbro brass seeing success of Classified animals and giving Marvel team okay to move forward. You gotta think those teams dream about designing the different things and not just reuse mods they have to have in every offering. I too hope for more like Lockjaw and more Pet Avengers.
Honestly? I can see Shanna coming with a Sauron repack. Hasbro likes reissuing BAFs. We did get Terrax with Fallen One. My pitch for how to make Sauron different? Well, sometimes he has a blue loincloth. Sometimes he wears ripped pants and those exist for that body from the Lizard BAF. I feel like he could be a brighter green too. What I don't think we'll see is a three pack. Hasbro is mostly doing two and five packs. I also don't think we'd get multiple scantily clad women in one pack again because then it becomes a fan service/pervy pack, particularly if it's multiple women. I think the best shot for Savage Land Rogue, particularly after X-Men 97, is in a two pack with Savage Land Magneto, reusing the Kazar body and X-Men 97 unhelmeted head. It may be a "couple" (sort of) but it looks less like pandering to one group and more like it's story driven.
Those two are an unbeatable pair. The chances of me getting a Zabu are very slim. I'm not willing to pay over $100 for it. It may end up cheaper buying the entire wave but I'm poor.
Yeah Zabu is 4’ Feet Tall From Shoulder And Weighs 800Ibs While KA-ZAR is 6’2” 215Ibs. is This Marvel Legends KA-ZAR And Zabu Figure Comically Accurate?
@@Xmanny87 Yeah I originally thought it was, but Zabu looks beefier, I’m pretty sure they used Gwen as a blueprint. Have you seen the D&D displacer beast? Now that one looks like Gwen but with 6 legs. I hope they give us more animals. Would be dope to be able to army build panthers to go with BP.
You should see how Jim Lee draws Zabu, dude draws women incredibly well, animals? not so much. If they do Shanna they are going to give her a uniboob/unibutt combo but make it a Savageland Rouge two-pack and I could dig it.

Man, I hate bein a hater, because the figure IS ite, but I still think hasbro needs to step their game up. The Zabu figure is pretty dope... could use some paint. Sik

That seem on the arm is actually where it’s glued together, it’s two separate pieces. They use it with characters like Count Nefaria, who wear gloves.
