It's against common sense to say most of the federal government does nothing. If you do en masse firings in the federal government, then you must hate veterans. You will eliminate so many programs that need staffing to benefit vets. There may be problems with efficiency in the VA, but firing everyone is going to make it so the veterans do not get any benefits for risking their lives and serving others. That is just plain evil and it's only one example of the damage trump will do to his own voters if he follows through with his promises.

If tariffs are used then is will also make US products more competitive and will promote buying American made. Yes, prices will initially go up, but once the US has the market share, prices will go back down again due to economies of scale (the more you produce, the cheaper each unit costs).
