Knowing your camera settings puts you apart from the rabble that wants to do vfx and the rabble that actually can do vfx and is a desirable hire :D

good tuto! but for transparency, you can simply add the multiply node under your checkerboard instead of under scanlinerender, so it wont affect all other element you add. also.. you put motionblur after that merge, which add motionblur to your whole footage. scanlinerender comes with motionblur setting that you can use. peace!

You should definitely add in any trackingvideo that filming with almost all CMOS sensors adds rolling shutter. Tracking rolling shutter footage with skew, jello...is horrible.
A perfect track needs global shutter frames.
