Her great grandfather comes here in 1920 …. Her family spread all over China that why we always travel all over China visiting relatives… one of her cousin married to Guanzhou Grand Mosque Imam/ Ahong.
My wife and My children can speak fluent Mandarin, Minan/Hokkien … Bahasa Malaysia and English…
Stay safe and stay happy
Bro.. U should be a vlogger youtuber too😅.. I will subscribe to ur channel
Seeing fellow chinese muslims vlog made me wished my relatives in China were muslims too. Unfortunately they are not😔
mesti anak isteri bro cantik2, kulit putih mulus jer. saya pun ada kawan yang asal dari yunnan. kulit mereka cantik, putih dan lemah lembut orangnya
Mashaallah ❤
Work for dawa in China 😊
your father is a very good grandfather, always take care of her granddaughter
I like how Kuala Lumpur bus terminal looks and feel like an airport. With this initiative, it does make travelling by bus in Malaysia more comfortable and encouraging.😅
Yup because the bus terminal (TBS) is not only providing buses but also a connecting/linking station for train lines. The direct trains from KLIA will transit there also so that is why it so big like an airport
Keluarga anda sangat sempurna kemana saja anda melancong anda akan mencari masjid...tempat terindah dan terbaik UTK org Islam. Berehat.... Dari seluruh urusan dunia...iktikaf dlm.masjid...amat tenang dan damai...
As indonesian i glad you happy in my brother's land, hope you will visit my country again
i am one of your billion fan. please come to north of malaysia too. penang, kedah, perlis. good food. you will like it
Yes,penang, kedah,Georgetown and Ipoh peark is also beautiful places❤
My mum came from Melaka, Melaka is one of the best places in Malaysia for foods, culture, historical and beautiful scene. One of the halal foods I can recommend you is Nasi lemak kukus ala nyonya. You can google and go there, it’s opened by Malaysian Chinese and it’s halal with Muslim workers.
And for your information, Kedah is a state in northwest Malaysia, bordering Thailand, one of the interesting places can be found is Langkawi. I’ve been there before to Langkawi, Alor Setar(capital of Kedah) and Sungai Petani. There are famous with foods and good people with difference races. Explore more in Malaysia as Malaysian people are friendly, we are willing to help as long foreigners respect our law and Malaysian people
OldWatch Ma, I highly suggest that you do the river cruise early at night around 8 am. Ask hotel, where the nearest point to board your river cruise so that you guys dont have to wait for Grab or taxi. For history education, you can go visit Malacca Museum, situated in wooden palace building and Admiral Zheng He museum.
Good suggestions👍
The blanket thing u see in the bag in the mall is toto. it is a small thin mattress that most people use to sleep on the floor like the Futon
Your question "when Chinese came to Malaysia". The famous one was Admiral Zheng He (Malaysia call Cheng Ho), came to Melaka back in year 1400+. Im sure there were other many chinese traveler pass through this area earlier than this. In one of his trip Admiral Zheng He brought along Chinese pricess "Princess Han Li Po" to marry with Sultan of Malacca. Many chinese stayed in Melaka since then and marry with the local. Their descendance are known as "Peranakan" here in Malaysia.
He was born in yunnan as Ma He. He also got arab name with title haji, can't remember. The peranakan chinese are chinese that came to malacca much much earlier, probably the 15th century & i got the impression that they are high class/related to royal families in china back then. You should try nyonya food & visit their museum.
Hang Li Po is not princess from China, she actually high ranking officer daughter from Hui ethnic also Zheng He's adopted child. She born in China but at the age of 10-12, she follow her family migrate to malacca and married sultan because ming dynasty emperor order. Sultan give title princess to her because although they married, she just concubine to sultan so princess status is more fitting her.
Before she marrying sultan, she live in malacca for a few years (some people said until she 15) until zheng he first arrived in malacca and she were called to guide zheng he around malacca city. Zheng he adopt her because they both hui ethnic and this make zheng he foster parent to sultan. Although my memory is not good but I still remember watching RTM 1 drama title Puteri Hang Li Po with malacca state historian guidance back in 2006.
Most people make a mistake by claiming she is ming dynasty princess which is wrong because China never record that. So why emperor give her as present? There's actually a story about emperor want malacca to be under China influence so he send an official letter to forced sultan to be his underling but one night emperor got dream to drink water from feet washed of sultan malacca. China's prime minister said its a bad fengshui so emperor who are scared of bad sign suddenly send that officer family as present to sultan and told sultan he just want to have diplomatic trading with malacca
"I'm sure there were many Chinese traveler pass through this area earlier than this".
Correct. The Chinese have been around in South east Asia for over a thousands of years. And yes, Malaysia too.
@@manalittlesis Yes. I found Yijing (635-713 CE), formerly romanized as I-ching a Buddhist monk, stop over in SriVijaya (most likely in the vicinity of Palembang) in year 671, then travel to Kedah Tua before heading to India. This is like 600 -700 yrs before Melaka
There's a Chinese-style mosque in Melaka called Masjid Cina Melaka (or Malacca Chinese Mosque). Since you're from China, it might be interesting for you to visit it 😊 Enjoy your stay in Melaka!
Salam, what your dad did in mosque was very right. Check your prayer times before you go. 6.30pm is the best time to go to The Strait Mosque. Admiral Cheng Ho @ Zheng who brought a team to married to one of Sultan daughter. Islam in Malacca through trading.😅😅 ❤🇲🇾
FINALLY NEW VIDEO!!! Been waiting 🤣🤣🤣
Salam we dont eat after 10pm most of us.. so shop close after 10pm....
If you arrive at 6pm you must search for food and think what to eat.. and where.. if you traveling.. before you look around.. just for advice..
And welcome to melaka.... have a nice day
Prepare itinerary beforehand, especially travelling with children and parents, and find the right balance of activities for your family, take into account the walking distance & quick access to food, spare some snacks in case of emergency or the journey may leave children and parents traumatized by exhaustion and hunger.
actually if you go walk along the Melaka river, the one you saw outside your residence, you'd find many places to eat because there are so many restaurants and stalls open along the river especially at night. You can cross the bridge to go to another side of the river to go to the restaurants on the other side. My family and I went there and we just walked from the residence to the Melaka river since it's near. To be honest it's a little bit tiring because we have to walk until we saw some restaurants and stalls. You just need to walk until you saw a glimpse of it. You can enjoy the view and explore along the way.
They can always do some research, so many tourists share their trips on UA-cam, but somehow, it seems they didn't. They can actually save time, energy, and money.
They planned to go the mosque and then jonker walk. They seem so fascinated by the sea so i can understand why the seaside mosque is a priority to visit. They must have lost track of time that it got too late and couldnt find transport to go back. It does not mean they did not do research though.
Next trip..flight to Langkawi at northern and Redang island at east coast...more surprise
Terbaik ❤ Semoga dapat Pergalaman berharga di Malaysia 🤲😊
12:28 what he is trying to convey that in dialect of kedah, 'makan' means both 'eat' & 'drink' while in other regions it means 'eat' only
I recommend u to go chinese mosque..or masjid cina.
In cheng kerubung ..fully chinese architecture..pagoda..😘👌♥️..regard from melaka too..🙏🙏
In Malaysian history, we learned about Admiral Cheng Ho. He was described as one of the greatest warriors from China and also served as an ambassador. Melaka and China have a good diplomatic relationship during the 1400. Have fun in Melaka.
I believe his name in China is Ma 'Zheng' He .
@@tehaisikattepi9393zheng he is mandarin dialect, cheng ho is Cantonese dialect.
Enjoy your stay in Malacca Ma
nice place in malaysia Sabah kota kinabalu....the city is near to sea very nice you can see very clear the sun set
Wow.. Salute to your dad.. Yes bro, shake hands with local is one of the best way to make friends with local bro.. Never hesitate to speak and talk to local bro..
love malacca...clean! and you can sense that you are in malacca when you see the masjid. unique architecture
Hope you have a great time.
Nice video as always.
North Malaysia ..By ferry go to Langkawi island you all can see the beach everydays..
woahh! my family and I literally stayed there during our visit to Melaka two weeks ago. When I watched it, I was like wait a minute why is the place is so familiar? and it turns out to be the same place we stayed at during our vacation.
What a coincidence!
You can see the straits clearly at The Shore Sky Tower
First wave chinese came to peninsula during migration through cambodia, Thailand, etc. Second wave during Melaka Sultanate & Chinese emperor diplomacy. Malacca became world trade centre at the time. They're called peranakan or baba/nyonya. They're also merged to Borneo & Java Island. You need to try their cuisine. Silat martial arts is combination of various martial arts including from mainland. Then another wave during British occupation, the biggest one. Because the British need labour for mining.
Assalammualaikum . Selamat Datang Ke Melaka. Mana lagi Melaka ler. Kalau naik bot tu, naik sebelah malam. Pemandangan lebih cantik.
Have a visit to Kampung Moten.
Even fan bing bing is an ambassador of Melaka hahahaha
yeah,i saw she was eatting candol there😂
Welcome to Malacca, Oldwatch Ma. I'm from Masjid Tanah, Malacca. I hope you still enjoy in Malacca.
I am from south africa
I would like to visit Malaysia and live with a Muslim family to learn the culture. I am muslim alhamdulilaah
Please go eat at Restoran Pak Putra nearby Jonker Street. Best Naan and Tandoori in Malaysia. They only open for dinner and supper
from my personal experience in Malacca, its a bit problematic to travel in Malacca without owning a car. Public transport are not efficient include grabcar/ehailing services. As Malacca are always congested with traffics jam, you have to wait too long. For taxis, they are willing to take you anywhere with expensive price but it also rare to find empty taxi.
My solution was to take public bus and drop off at Melaka Sentral to get taxi from there. i think theres taxi station at different entrance door in Melaka Sentral from your video. And its a good advantage to know a personal taxi driver and save their number so that you can call in case there's no other transport options nearby. And if you want to book grab, pinpoint your drop off a bit far from your real destination (make sure you still can walk there) as ehailing usually refuse to drive to places with heavy traffic.
looking at the hotel where you are staying, I think theres a lot of interesting places nearby that you can still visit at least by walking so I hope you will have great time in Malacca. Can't wait for your next update.
I'm a Singaporean, and I've been to Malacca a few Times, in Malacca there's Palau besar.. a keramat of a Saint in that island
Omg!!!.. i miss ur vlog a day ago.. wellcome to Malacca ( Melaka), my hometown. Melaka, where it all began the historic city in Malaysia. Melaka was very close with China since 700 yrs ago and now Melaka has launched a 'Silk Road' in conjunction of Beijing/Melaka Bilateral to let more Investors from China placed in this state trough the International Port provided by our Goverment❤
I'm happy to follow your travels and I'm really glad you visited Malacca, especially, Alhamdulillah. I'm looking forward to more, Insha Allah.
Salam dari ipoh perak 🤗
If u fancy beaches ...u can just go to pantai puteri and hang out near mosque and restaurant
Wa'alaikumusalam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh from Sarawak Borneo Malaysia 🇲🇾
In Malaysia,Maghrib and after 10pm are timings which are difficult to get Grab or taxis. Always bring some snacks eg nuts, dry fruits or crackers for children along and sweets(in case short of glucose). The smaller cities in Msia transportation can be challenging. Either rent a car or book a driver can bring you all around.
Do most of your visiting during day time for ease. Night time purely for visiting night market or if at Masjid to pray stay till Isyak prayer or nearby where you stay. Malaysians do pray at surau(you can google to find surau near your location). Hope you all have a good trip.
Don't forget come to Semporna Tawau Sabah...a lot of tourist from China came to Semporna... it's a nice beautiful islands...
Hi, You should try visiting Langkawi Island. Recommended place with so many tourist place and easy transportation. The Island is Legendary Island that has historical legend story. The scenery and view is beautiful. Also one of the favourite China visitor.

actually im thinking you guys has missed out alot. but still please take time to enjoy with your family and thanks for visiting malaysia. let say if your followers or fans recommendation to something. try to get as much information as you can from them and plan it well, its very important from 1 to 10, how to get from A to Z. baba nyonya food its still among of the best food in malaysia.
You're both so cute couple.
When one said something true but funny then you both laughed together.
My advice is make a plan accordingly. Timing is important when travelling with a group or family especially during short trips.
Yeah~~☺️because we are with family so we hardly to plan...Especially with a kid hahaha, she's aways interrupting our plans.
Do not forget try Asam pedas melaka
Those many blankets for sale are among fav things for immigrant workers from Bangladesh, Nepal and India. They tend to buy those to bring back to their country once their working permit ended. Not sure why, perhaps cheaper here than at their home country.
now u seen malacca, terengganu is also should be part of your list to see the crystal mosque & kelantan (next to terengganu) ,there's a road sign called dataran cheng ho in honor for the chinese..so the relationship between malaysia (before modern time) and china kinda always been there since way back then since the time of king's & emperor due to trading relationship..hence u could she why such state like malacca & kelantan are honoring chinese sailor back then to having a museum, road sign in these states...
Admiral Zheng He/ Laksamana Cheng Ho 's name is in our History School Textbook too.
If you love sunsets and beaches, Sabah, Malaysia is the place to be!
Enjoy🎉
Come to penang & langkawi ..u can go to their beautiful beaches
欢迎到来马来西亚
Actually there are several museums that near to each other in melaka town with different vibes. If you want to explore the cultural thing of Malays you can visit morten village that beside the river.... and take a stroll along the river. Perhaps will give you the 16th century vibe.😅 the Portuguese fort.... the melaka palace..the colonial buildings n museums etc. Enjoy your visit n stay safe. Btw if you really like the beaches you can visit the east coast of peninsular Malaysia which there are a lot of resorts to stay. And if you want to go further you can go to east Malaysia where the state of sabah n sarawak will give you unforgettable memory of rich nature..culture..people n food. Also we have so many touristic islands like tioman.. pangkor.. redang...perhentian...langkawi...penang...semporna and a lot more. Enjoy your stay in Malaysia and stay safe

If u love the sea, maybe you live the Islands as well. You could visit Perhentian Island in Terengganu
kalau di Melaka, jangan lupa beli belacan... bawa pulang sebagai cenderahati untuk keluarga di China. 😆
Its not blanket, its like a mattress but thinner. Its very useful if you travel with many family members
Welcome to Malacca.. Enjoyed your trip...
Now during weekends(saturday/sunday) they will have very big bazaar and close all the road at main area so tourists can walk around safely...
The blankets are normally purchased by foreign workers, especially the Bangladeshis. Foreign workers normally commuted from one state to another by bus
Walekum assalam Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh❤❤❤❤❤
Please go to Penang next and your family will surely like it there. There's lots of durians and good food there with many tourist attractions.
Malacca/Melaka usually lively during weekend since it it is fast destination for people who work in cities to have sub urban vacation..
Malacca very fun

Please visit Masjid Kampong Hulu in Melaka City..
😊 😊 😊
Kampung Hulu Mosque is a mosque situated at Kampong Hulu Village in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia. It is the oldest mosque in Malacca and among the oldest in the country, having originally built around the year 1720-1728.
Yeah….it was told by old generation ….the mosque was built by businessmen that work there in 1700s. most probably Muslim chinese+ Indian muslim + Malay traders…not sure this story
Yeah~~~I have been there, i have not edit the videos~~
Hire a car that can seat all five adults and a child (either in your destination or in order to get to your destination). Trust me, it'll solve a lot of problem.
You'll also get to cover a lot more, do a lot more, and see a lot more as compared to how you are doing it at the moment!
We can not drive on the right...
3:29 I assume that is a blanket that could be used as a small mattress as well. We call it TOTO and it is kinda old product but it is useful, especially during holidays.
Bangla people like to buy it. Malacca has a lot of bangla workers . Not sure why they like the blanket so much. 😅
Yeahh can go thailand drive, kedah and thailand is very close dont be suprise
Zheng He/Cheng Ho is muslim, but many in Malaysia likes to ignore that fact.
Redang island are beautiful but far away. You should plan your trip since you bring along kids and your mother and father.atleast take a grab taxi which you have to use apps in phone or rent a car for days. You couldn't just go walking since the weather unexpected and consume time to go to destination
Yup usually in small or village mosques people will line up to shake everyone's hands
😄
also can visit Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum
Atlantic Nonya @ melaka raya is one of a very few HALAL nonya food restaurants in melaka.
road to 100k subs!
quire funny the driver mentioned langkawi was at east coast which is wrong actually situated at west cost of malaysia.
The great chinese muslim explorer Admiral Cheng Ho@Zheng He@鄭和 been here in early Ming Dynasty

Enjoy your trip in Malacca
Welcome to Melaka
WOW 😂 enjoy your stay in Melaka
A must visit for you would be the Masjid Cina, bother to ask about its story or history. Other time arrange for a visit to Sabah especially to its capital, there are more wow awaiting to be explored. Up after 2005 there are more students enrolling to University Malaysia Sabah. The Shantung Muslim of Sabah are the Chainese Muslim who migrated to Sabah long before Sabah get independence from British
