The Midnight Wisps missing out on the marble league absolutely shatters my heart. That funnel performance made me sick to my stomach. Still cheering for them in the showdown, probably gonna support a different team for the league. The Glaciers look cool, so I hope they do well. Of course, still a Wisps fan at heart. Marble Showdown. THAT'S the name. Did Savage Speedeers win the Marbula 1 and Marble League consecutively? I can't remember. Either CCE has the chance to be the only team to do it, or the only team in the same season, I think? STILL, the fact that Crazy Cats Eyes are clearly leveraging their assets* to make this year a great one-and winning the friendly-makes me a pretty dang big fan this year. It's still obscene that they *almost* got 200 points in the Marbula 1, and nuts that they *averaged* above a bronze the whole time (they were at silver after round 8, I believe). I'm happy for my Ducks. I want us to remain in the upper-half of the League, as that's competent. That's competitive. It's rare for a team to *stay* excellent, and I think it speaks to the overall structure of the team to stay *relevant*. We've gotten a silver and a bronze in top-level events, and I don't necessarily *need* another one to be proud of the team. I'm sad that the Snowballs/Glaciers rivalry isn't happening, though I'm stoked *for* the Glaciers. I'm confused why the Rojo Rollers and Raspberry Racers haven't merged (especially after the Marbula One issues with them trying to not get lapped.) Jumpers not being able to compete with the Ducks makes me sad. Solar Flares had a nice moment early, and I hope they have fun in the Showdown. It's not common for a new team to do all that well, so I'm happy for them to have shown talent. Let's see if they can develop for a year and compete with the Sliders (my sister's favorite team because turtles). *I'd expect CCE to have at worst the 3rd best funding in the league, only potentially behind O'Rangers, whom I consider the "soul" of the League, and the Savage Speeders, the "best" team in the league. Given that CCE is the only team to do the League, Marbula 1, *and* Sand Rally, I'd expect them to get ahead based off that third source of revenue. Not that money = ability, of course, but money *can* mean better training.
Shining Swarm Qualified... I don't care anymore that Team Galactic, the Midnight Wisps, Balls of Chaos, the Jungle Jumpers, and the Solar Flares all failed to qualify. Having Shining Swarm in the Marble League is enough of a silver lining for me. The Indigo Stars are amazing too.
Was a great video, I’m happy my Wisps weren’t roasted as badly as I thought they were going to be. Although we will be stuck in this strange island called the showdown, I hope the Wisps can get their revenge on the evil empire in 2022

One wonders just how much of their training budget was diverted to cover the costs of hosting.
Yeah the teams who finish in the bottom 4 on the showdown don't get to compete in the next year's qualifiers, and instead spend the next year in the showdown. This year, with the introduction of the Solar Flares and reintroduction of the Gliding Glaciers, the bottom 4 still got to compete in the qualifiers. It's unsure if the JMR will keep that feature for this year's showdown

Question: what did you mean about 8 teams leaving in the showdown, if you perform low are you out of the main league?
Yeah the teams who finish in the bottom 4 on the showdown don't get to compete in the next year's qualifiers, and instead spend the next year in the showdown. This year, with the introduction of the Solar Flares and reintroduction of the Gliding Glaciers, the bottom 4 still got to compete in the qualifiers. It's unsure if the JMR will keep that feature for this year's showdown
@@ThesaurusDinosaurus I do believe it was confirmed on discord by a JMRC member that the showdown relegation format has been discontinued and showdown will now act solely as a friendly consolation tournament.
