So thrilled and stunned by that girls video, India is a country with great culture, love to see these young girls talking about the powers they would like to have..
The illustrated Mahabharata is awesome! As an American, the, "18 Days," UA-cam channel was the last step I needed to investigate further The Mahabharata, and I can't thank existence enough for that. We *NEED* Indian superheroes here! They bring such amazing points of philosophy to our culture that simply don't exist currently. PLEASE! Take this to the next step! There aren't any (media) English translations of the Ramayana after the 1980's series available, and the Stars Mahabharata isn't in English. We Need You.
Great work Sharad ji :) I personally love 18 days, Chakra and even many of the 'Virgin Comics' titles!! Is there any chance to restart the titles like Ramayan 3392 AD and Kshatriya: Blade of The Warrior?
I sincerely hope "west" will have enough empathy to embrace Indian philosophy. It is clear that every superhero needs to come from current needs, therefore we see females in need for superpower which would aid most basic needs in India - food, shelter and health. Just like "west" wanted defending superheroes who would protect their way of living. Possible success I see is in the fact that "west" now faces same issues like "east".
DoNotTrust Also comic books are'n gonna help to reduce this massive amount of girls in poverty. The thing that is going to is to STOP HAVING SO MUCH KIDS WHEN YOU CAN'T FEED THEM goddamit
Great work Sharad. I would like to see more Indian superheroes in mainstream media.
I like when he said "superheros are modern mythologies of our world"
