The person playing Phyllis was the casting director. Everyone thought she had such great chemistry with the actors, so they gave her a minor role and that's how she became a regular.
She is a darling person!

The Michael-Toby dynamic is special
It was Toby that got kicked out the diversity day meeting. One of the running jokes in the series is how much Michael absolutely hates Toby.
Well he works for hr, so he's not really part of the office family

There's definitely a difference but a lot of those type of issues in general stem from hookup cultures. There'd be a lot less issues if people didn't just sleep with people for the he'll of it

The actor playing Pam’s mom was only the first one. The second actor was a well known one but I can’t think of her name. The second one was better. This was the first one.
