Thank you for sharing. I too follow Tina and love her tutorials. It is especially enjoyable to watch the pattern unfold from the foundation up. I would love to see you do this one from the start. Thanks for the additional part on showing the way to read a mosaic chart.
Hello ! I too was initiated to mosaic crochet by Tinna Thorudotir ! She is a real master and creates wonders. I LOVE MOSAIC CROCHET ! You too explain very well. Great @ You lucky to have acquired such a wonderful dog !!!
Thank you so much, Jeremy! I am not too proud to say that I was petrified to even hope to try to learn mosaic crocheting, but you have completely demystified the process. I am in the process of making blankets for each of my grandchildren (4 little ladies and 5 young gentlemen), and finding patterns for my fellas hasn’t been as easy as I had thought it would be. I saw loads of mosaic patterns that appealed to me, but was so intimidated that I scrolled right past them; time to go back and take another look! That argyle pattern especially has caught my eye, and I know EXACTLY which one of “Grandma’s Little Lovely Men” will be receiving it. Thanks again, Jeremy! I just found your channel, but I think I may be here a while going through your videos (oh darn, eh? LOL!)
Wow Jeremy! I am a knitter and have struggled with crochet. Your explanation was so easy to follow. Will have to try crocheting again. Love this mosaic stitch.
This is so beautiful Jeremy! I really want to try crochet. Can you suggest some yarn and crochet needle? I think that's what you call it🤔😏. That's how little I know. My dearest friend is so good at crochet that she makes up her own patterns. Cherish all the little cuts and bite marks on your hands...they grow up too fast! Tate is too cute! Pretty soon (too soon) we will have to say handsome. They are so smart, they know the difference and take exception to the "C" word😄. Obviously, I'm going to have to watch your first video again...and again. I'm a super newbie, but I'm looking forward to learning through your excellent teaching of crochet. 😊⭐️✨️⭐️✨️⭐️
You seem to have skipped all the beginning and then with that first stitch is the fuzzy blue you repeated so many times I was wondering if we were going to get past that first stitch. Then, boom. you skipped a bunch so it was all a little confusing. I love the pattern though. Thank you
I have a question... if my pattern has say 5 rows of all Black(color b backfround color) and color a doesnt technically start until row 6. Is it necassary to alternate color a and b every other row, eventhough the black would be DC ocer the front of the other color? That seems like a waste of yarn of color a if you wont even see it. Would it make more sense to do 5 rows of black all DC before introducing the other color? Even if thats not what my pattern says
Hey there! So glad you messaged me! I would definitely have her watch my first few videos on how to hold the yarn and doing single and double crochet. After that I would have her practice making some squares of 1 row single Crochet then 1 row double crochet with a bulky weight yarn. Do 12-16 stitches on each row for 6-8 rows. It will say it on The yarn wrapper what type it is. I like yarn bee true colors from hobby lobby. It’s a great thickness to start with. Sometimes when first starting some tend to pull the yarn tight. Making it very difficult to put your hook through. If this happens just tell her to take a breath and relax herself and the yarn a little. Takes some practice but she will do great! I hope this helps and if you have any other questions please message me back! ❤️
I’ve picked up my crochet hook and some yarn to start learning in earnest. I can make a chain but my tension isn’t consistent. Do you think I should move on to rows and work on the tension or just continue with the chains and try to perfect the tension? I have no goals for the yarn right now except learn from it. When/if I get better (?) I’m shooting for the blanket with the flowers .🌸 I will be layed up starting in April for a few months so painting will be a no go. I need something I can do in my lap that won’t spill. (I’m notoriously clutzy, painting and beading will be out of the question.) Muscle memory will be important so hopefully I will have learned the simple pattern by then. Thank you Jeremy. Congratulations on your cutie pie Tate! We adopted a sweet little cat from our local SPCA. I’m her person, she’s still very shy with my husband and very bossy with our sweet little Maltese, Hollie.

Great Teacher! Thanks ❤️🦋
Love your teaching ❤
Me encanta como hago para no tener que cortar el hilo
Wished you would say which pattern you purchased for your leftover yarn blanket. Gorgeous!
So is your puppy!
You are talented ❤
Wow Jeremy! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Could u tell me what's a good chain length how many stitch is good to make a swatch for a
Mosaic to test my gauge ? 😊
Just gorgeous. Is there a pattern I can print

This is great. In the pattern, i have to chain 1 after the bs, is this normal in mosaic crochet?
are the boarder stitches included in your row stitch count?

I must have missed the beginning? Can you tell me the count of the foundation row? Thank you!
My nine-year-old wants to learn crochet. What do you suggest we start with that she can succeed in and build her confidence? I hope you see this

Lol
I see all those puppy scratches on you hands
Omg… he is a little nipper! 😂
He is getting better with the play biting though. Think it’s just his teething.
