So many potential complications after cataract surgery ! Im cancelling my surgery. I wasn't informed by my DR. About all these. Lord Have Mercy ! Thanks for helping me make up my mind.
Great video, Thanks for the info doctor, my father had an eye surgery (pterygium and cataract) one and half month back, he can see clearly with no pain but recently he started getting tears in the eye for which he had recent surgery.. what might be the general reason?
Great advice! I had double DCR surgery last May. It's annoying to say the least, post surgery takes months and cold weather, wind can make you tear again. I'm up for cataract surgery as I'm not happy with my current vision and these tips are excellent when finding the best doctor.
Hello, I have a nodule in the sclera next to the cornea. When I push up on my lower lid, the sclera seems detached. This causes irritation when I open and close my eyelid. Would cataract surgery make it worse? Thank You, Gary
Now I have PCO only a month or so after my cataract/IOL surgery. I didn't get any of those suggestions you mentioned or that treatment with that pen like thing over the eyelids! Now my eyes are so dry!
Hello Doctor. Where's the info on the Omega supplements you mentioned? At the end of this video, you directed us to a different video about "the right amount and right type" of Omega supplements at the end and I've been chasing all over your channel looking for that specific information and can't find it. Will you either respond to this post with your recommendations or direct me to the video that gives me the information I need. Thank you so much for these helpful videos!. Also, why don't doctors routinely check for asymptomatic dry eyes before doing the cataract surgery. I had asymptomatic dry eyes but was never screened for it so the cataract surgery left me with full-on dry eye disease that has been horrible and life-altering trying to find relief.

What about when the lens that got broken up goes to the back of the eye and didn’t come out. What will happen

I would suggest visiting your optometrist. The PCO is easy to deal with. Dry eye can be harder but we have great options to treat dry eye.

Still in the cue, but look for re-esterfied Omega 3. I recommend PRN De3 Omega 3
