That wasn't a boil, kid was squeezing roasted garlic in his fingertips. Also, fatback? Really? Your joking... really? animal fat...? I think it just coincidentally started to go down. If that truly was a boil. As they are prone to places that can grow hair. Soles of your feet are not one. So it would be really rare. Sounds more like a cut that got infected.
It's funny, I have no problem watching vets fix huge abcesses on cows, either their feet or wherever they may be, but on people I can't handle it. Except for the foot. Weird..
It is just so annoying when people wipe the contents on their gloves. I can't even find any enjoyment in the salon videos. Video #1 is not messy, but usually, you will see people with their faces that are an infected mess. I usually stick with Dr. Lee's videos and a few others.
I've always thought the same. I don't see the point in putting all that mess on their gloves. What about if while they are moving around to different areas of the face, it would fall In the patients mouth or eyes. 🤮
For real! No matter how much I vacuum there always seems to be more ready and waiting to stick me under the foot like a tiny glass shard. Wouldn't have it any other way though, love my dog but let's just say she's lucky she's do damn cute
One of my worst NYC subway experiences was watching a female passenger cowgirl her BF and spend the next 30 minutes with a pair of tweezers removing his ingrown chin hairs. Scarred me for life, had to be 1983.
Awesome clips!! Thanks for sharing! I saw some comments about the gloves being used to display pore content. I have a friend from Vietnam who told me they do that because when they remove their gloves all of the zit material gets stored inside and thrown away.
When my oldest son was nine he wanted to play football. We did not have the money to purchase the pads that he needed so the school supplied us with pads. I wipe them down with Clorox didn't think any more of it about two weeks later he comes to me complaining that he has a spider bite on his knee. The bike gets bigger and redder and more angry and one day ended up with a white top on it. So my son thought it must be a pimple and he popped it and all of his group came out and started running down his leg and he was FTFOing. The next person to get it was me. I thought I had a spider right right along my pant line. As the days progressed my abdomen became more and more rigid I was an excruciating pain and I had a fever. I went into the emergency room and they drained 3 L of pus from my abdomen because I had gotten MRSA too. A lot of times I look at these videos and I know they aren't pilar cyst s or in your in hairs because the way the pus is coming out of them they have MRSA. And that crap is no joke cuz it put my fourth son in Children's Hospital for 5 days because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. His lymph nodes in his neck were so big he look like he had a goiter and it's because his body was fighting Epstein-Barr and MRSA.
Agreed. I ended up with boils thanks to him and his gf at the time using my shower stuff while they had them. I have scars and have even had boils in my nose. Would not recommend.
I was a dog groom for 23 years. I had dog hair that would constantly embed in between two fingers on my left hand. I finally went to the doctor and he made a little slice where these hairs would end up and the idea was for it to heal solid with the three wholes it had. It worked!
Yeah me too it's like why do you use the cloth things to wipe it up if they're just going to use the glove for the goo it's nasty and makes 0 Sense to me really just kinda confusing and it's usually these overseas"Doctors" that do it I don't see to many American Doctors doing it unless I haven't watched enough of these but I did just start watching them more it's like I want to look away but can't I only got caught watching these looking for long videos to watch while I go to bed with my son he likes to educational stuff I Guess UA-cam thought this was in the group I was looking for but not even close we were looking at Mathew santoro and bright side idfkh this got in the mix but now I'm hooked like a hungry fish in a empty pond lol
Great video! It's really interesting to hear the perspective of an MD on these videos! I have a question that I'm hoping you will answer, because I see comments on it all the time in other videos. So many of these pimple popping videos show the tech wearing gloves that are absolutely covered in the little blobs of sebum that they've extracted. There seems to be debate amongst the viewers as to whether or not this is dangerous as far as spreading bacteria more easily. Some viewers say yes, while others claim that it doesn't matter because they're still working in the "same field". Can you comment with your thoughts? Thanks in advance!
Good question. The bacteria in that sebum will be the same throughout the entire face. Once those gloves have touched a persons face, they’re already covered in the bacteria that has colonized the client. So, whether they keep the sebum on the glove or not won’t change the translocation of bacteria. Unless you completely sterilized the face and used sterile gloves, which isn’t necessary or plausible for extractions. Now, people should very weary when you go deep enough into the dermis and you see bleeding because there is a theoretical risk for infection.
My husband was complaining recently that he had a splinter in his foot and it turned out to be a whisker from our cat. It was about a quarter inch into his foot. 😂
The bottom of the foot could be gout crystals. I watch a lot of podiatry channels and I have seen many gout "pops" where the gout crystals coming out looks almost exactly like the contents of your garden variety uninfected epidermoid cyst. ❤
I may be wrong, haven't read about gout in ages but dosen't gout crystal buildup happen in joints or generally bone-interfacing areas? This was the middle of the foot.
We love the picking and popping videos because of evolution. Our ancient ancestors had to groom each other, much like monkeys and apes do, and they bonded while grooming each other. They also felt better afterward so the behavior was reinforced as both groomer and groomee.
"HAIR SPLINTER"!!! Finally I have a name for it! When I had two dogs years ago I'd often get a pain on the sole of my foot and when I checked there'd be one of the dogs hairs kinda sticking out of my foot. I asked everyone I knew and no-one I knew had had it happen to them so I didn't know there was an actual name for it lol
You have a fabulous demeanor, you relay info in layman's terms..which is excellent , everyone can relate to what you're saying! It would be such a benefit to your channel if you enlarged the window that the procedure is shown in and reduce your window and offset it. Yes, we want to see you, but making the video window equal in size to you ,detracts from it. The larger we can see the procedure, the better!!
@5:42 That is actually garlic. It's widely used in Turkey for patchy hair loss and it actually works due to antibiotic properties of garlic. The thing is homeopathy fan barbers believe if you irritate the area with a razor then rub the garlic somehow make it more effective. Garlic alone burns like hell. I can't imagine applying it to a fresh wound on the scalp.
I had something like the foot thing shown, but much bigger. It wasn’t just some strange abscess outta nowhere, though. I got thwacked by a sting ray weeks earlier and didn’t realize how deep it was. Three weeks later it was like I was walking on a golf ball. I picked the tiny little scab on the bottom of my foot and an unreasonable amount of gunk came out. Put a bit of antiseptic on it and was good as new. Ahh, youth. 😆 Edit: typo.
When you completely pull out an ingrown hair, it just grows back again INGROWN. Better to pull it most of the way out and then cut it next to the skin, as if it were shaved, and it will grow back in normally. I'm surprised the "Doc" did not mention this.
Really interesting reaction, and very informative commentary 😊 About the spa not being allowed to use scalpel blades or needles - is a very good observation. I work as a dental technician, wich means that I make the dental restorations that are used in the mouth. But we are also not legaly allowed to do certain things. I can't for one take a dental impression of a patient. I'm allowed to on myself though 😁 but the biggest one is that I can fix/mend broken dentures, but I'm not allowed to hand them back to the patient - only a dentist can do that. And that is because the dentist has a license and I don't. Even if I manifacture the things they order, the ultimate responsibility is with the dentist.
I didn't know you could get hair splinter. Spending half my time in a workshop I knew about metal splinter (very small and hard to reach, I may or may not have to open the skin to get them) but I've never heard of hair splinter
the end video isnt fake. just recently had someone close do that infront of me. and there was still more. she said she will go to the doctor soon. just to share some info.
Have you tried any of the growth serums? I've heard that they can really help, but tend to be a bit pricey. It's also important to get the right formula for your skin and hair, so there might be a bit of trial and error involved. The other alternative of course, is just using makeup to make your brows look great. Good luck - I'm sure this must be frustrating for you but hopefully you'll find a solution that works for you 😊
6:41 I got that when I was in highschool about the same size maybe a bit bigger I was looking in the mirror applying light pressure seeing if it would pop cause it wouldn't before when it popped my god it was a quite a bit of puss that shot out about almost a foot onto my ear and shoulder
