Jimmy Nail was a main staple of my childhood too man. This was the first single I bought, aged 5. Might sound daft to some, but he's a great singer and some of his later musical output is fantastic. The artists he worked with too (Gilmour, Harrison, Knopfler, Gary Moore, Sting etc)
I have only visited Newcastle once, but I will never forget it because the people were so friendly - so warm and welcoming to total strangers and that is exactly how this song by Jimmy makes me feel - thank you for such a lovely song
