Today I wanted to hang out and take you along with me for a productive weekend in my life. In this video, we will work on home organization projects, including lighting my home gym, organizing my skincare cabinet, and redoing my pantries. I will also share the BEST pot roast recipe I have ever tried (linked below) and show you guys my current planning setup.
I am looking forward to bringing you lots of homemaking, home planning, cleaning, decorating, and cooking content as the holidays are approaching. I want to start making more content like this for several reasons, but I will be doing a chit-chat GRWM video that will go up on Friday explaining some of them. I hope to see yall there.

I can also relate to the need to plan prior to the weekend to ensure that there is more consistency and discipline rather than feeling overwhelmed when starting a routine on a Monday.

Hey Whitney, I don't know what your normal diet looks like but you might be surprised by how much you can save by buying from (for lack of a better word) ethnic shops near you. I'm in NC and we have a variety of cultural grocery stores for Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, etc and some stuff is way cheaper in those places than even at Walmart (i.e. 25 lb bags of rice for $12). The food is also just better quality because those cultures don't add extra stuff like the US does.
A local farmers market is also a great place to find produce and connect with some farmers and foodies. Just some ideas in case you're looking for some more options!
Oh girl I love our Asian grocery store! The herbs and produce are so well priced! Really it’s just Publix that gets me hahaha it’s just dumb expensive in there. But I love being there so much so it’s hard for me to wanna shop anywhere else. I am however going to meal plan for all of September cause I think if I do I can kinda hit different stores for different things more easily and shop sales ;)
Loved this style video and so glad to see you back! I love being a housewife. I have been married 31 years and have been a housewife/ stay at home mom the entire time. I feel so fortunate that I was able to do that. I love maintaining my home, raising my kids( all out on their now) supporting my husband in his career ( retired after 28 years in the AF) feeding /caring for everyone etc... It isn't for everyone, but its worked well for my family. Glad to see someone younger also enjoying it!! You look happy and beautiful!! Blessed Be ) O (

I’m the same way and do my grocery shopping on Friday so I can rest and relax over the weekend.. or try to! Groceries are definitely going up so I’m also reviewing what I buy to see where I can save some 💵💵💵

Whitney, the La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ Balm is absolutely amazing for barrier repair! I use Tret as well and this stuff is awesome and comes in a 13.5 oz pump bottle!

If you're going on a health journy and trying to lose weight and just feel better, i would highly recommend eating beans (of any kind), a couple times a week, if not daily, adding flax and chia seeds to your diet, and maybe doing a trial diet of gluten free to see how you feel. I just recently did the gluten free trial diet, and found out I'm intolerant. And i feel so much better. I have pmdd, and cutting out gluten has helped so much.
I like the la roche posay stuff you bought. Edit: I also like their lipikar body wash, I *think* it's a wash. I also use it as a cleanser. Good size.
Too funny, you hauled both of my always-on-hand La Roche Posay products. I find the Toleriane hydrating cleanser more calming to my skin in the morning than a splash of water. So many ways to use the Cicaplast (I even use it on cuts and scrapes), but I do find a dab of it really helps my skin tolerate Retinol.
I even like it on my hands before bed ;)

I know it’s not fancy pants, but in our area save a lot has a higher quality of meat for cheaper than or comparable to Walmart. It could just be something to look into for the preferences you stated in the video if there is one in your area.

I have Covid right now and it literally turned my world upside down. I feel so unproductive but cooking has been the hardest. Now I’ve lost my taste so I really can’t cook anything crazy lol

You could check out the cheap lazy vegan on UA-cam . I noticed you felt that vegan food was more expensive but most of the time if you don’t get the bougie items it’s great
So it’s not the vegan food was expensive necessarily it’s cooking and preparing food for me and different food for my family that is time consuming and expensive. I always go back plant based though…it’s inevitable hahah

You will be surprised. They have name brand stuff but you will find most of the brands are European brands and have better ingredients.
