Agreed, he should let go of this bound of life and find happiness. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing, but no person is always correct. So better to find people with similar interests and just share kindness.
I will agree to him on some regards. People have a tendency to overhype or call games garbage; as well as, there are often big "game news" websites that give really poor quality reviews. However he falls short on labeling people that get upset as idiots simply for the idea that they willing to disagree. He stands as if his word is law and puts people down simply for their game choice.
Aside from that his main point on what determines a real gamer vs a fake gamer also holds weak. He marks people that are willing to consider online reviews for the quality of games as sheep. As well as complains about people who are playing low quality games, even though by his standards becoming real gamers requires a person to actually play a variety of games of varying quality to determine what is a good game.
He reminds me a lot of Verisifly, or whatever the dog biscuit poketuber is. Every video just feels like more and more hate for subjects where there is a lot of nice things despite the flaws.

I personally enjoyed the game when I started playing through it blind. Unfortunately, I haven't finished it even though I've had it for like almost 2 years now ,if not 3, but that's because of reasons outside of the actual game itself. I remember searching up the game on YT some months after I started playing it to see if anyone really even knew about Remember Me because I was curious. It turns out that SuperButterBuns did. I found out about SuperButterBuns because they ACTUALLY knew of an old game I ADORED that I literally never saw anywhere else and their (re)view on it was phenomenally balanced because they also grew up playing the game too. They saw the game for both its good and bad while having an extremely fair argument on it. I was just happy that they knew it existed and even more that they also loved it. I also liked the rest of their content after that too so, there's that. But I was just surprised that Buns even knew they both existed and that they had reviewed Remember Me also.
I haven't finished the game so I can't give my full opinion on it or compare my experience to Buns's but I just thought that I'd mention it because you knew Remember Me and anyone that knows about the games that I do that are THAT RARE, I have a special kind of respect for them.

But if possible, I watch and read quite a few unbiased reviews so that I don't end up wasting money on a garbage game. There's been quite a few cases where I bought a game with loads of good reviews, but then end up uninstalling it because it was boring and/or garbage.

I use reviews to see if a game is good or bad. If I want to buy a game and I look up and the game is hated, has many people saying it's broken and there's videos talking about it I won't buy it. If you're a real gamer you wouldn't want to play shit. How you gonna call Destiny shit but want to buy No Mans sky.

Reviews can be useful, but also do your own research about that game. Don't just buy a game because it looks cool.
I mostly search for reviews but also sometimes don't listen to them. For example, the Drakenguard series almost all had negative reviews, mostly because of it's bland gameplay and sub-par gameplay. Reviews also told about it having a great story. Because I analysed the review instead of simply looking up the score, I made a choice which I do not regret because, while it's gameplay is indeed not the most thrilling, it's a masterpiece in storytelling, along with some of the best characters ever created, like Zero from Drakenguard 3 and Grimoire Weiss from NieR

I love games, dragon quest ps3 I like the look of the new one, I love primal, morio, old school games, my parnter will play online with me as I am not very good and others have not gamed because I slow then down, I have noticed it is all about being better than each other, I was told primal was crap because it was old but I love it so much I play it over and over, I even swap pads with my kids we take turns and play, but I do fined I don't like many now that come out.

I mean technically there are tiers to gamers. Harcore is up there while there are some "Casual Gamers" that just like videogames but don't play them like hardcore gamers. True... these fake gamers need to dissapear. But for example, just because someone doesn't know some random video game fact like who samus' grandmother was doesn't mean they don't like and play games just to play them, rather than people who play them just for views not because they like the games themselves. Granted, I consider myself a gamer with over 110 games in my steam inventory alone, but I do play some mainstream games such as Destiny 2 because even though it is mainstream I do find it entertaining. Gamers also have different preferences. I for example prefer sandbox survival or mmorpg's. I spend more time playing games than I do at work. I wouldn't exactly say I'm a hardcore gamer because I only got into PC gaming a few years back. Tru... I didn't play much games in my childhood because my parents thought they weren't "Healthy." And yet even though I had a late start i am enjoying expanding the scope of games i have/ do play. Some might call me a fake gamer. I suppose it depends on your definition of gamer as everyone views it differently. I do consider myself a gamer though probably not a hardcore gamer. I play games because I enjoy them not because they are what everyone else plays. Shit, I've played so many good games that had a shit rating. I don't even bother looking at reviews before playing a game. I decide if I like it once I play it. If I see a game I think I might like I'll try it and if I like it I'll keep playing it. Do I know everything there is to know about every video game ever? Absolutely not. Hell, I have only played a couple of Legend of Zelda games in my life. If I had the money for a switch I would play Breath of the wild because I think it looks fun, not because its rated good. Do I want to play the old Zelda games? Eventually. Do I know everything there is to know about the Legend of Zelda franchise? Not even close. And yet I named my IGN after Link because he is a total badass and that is one fact that everyone should know, even one who has played only a couple Legend of Zelda games. I'm not saying you are too hard on people. I believe fake gamers have ruined gaming. I agree with basically everything you have said. Yet we also need to look at other factors that make people gamers as there are other types of gamers, real gamers that don't just play for views or popularity. Am I a casual gamer? So true I have a friend that is a fake gamer he plays only fortnite and Minecraft I told him to play red dead redemption 2 or kingdom come and he died once and he called it trash
