Marina Del Rey / Ladera Heights, CA - Feb. 7th, 2016
I created this video with the UA-cam Video Editor ( / editor )
Thx to the captain sharing his video and LACo.FD!
captain johnson response videos is my old channel name. thanks for watching (:
00:25 amazing how people just stop in the middle of the road whenever there's an oncoming emergency vehicle.
That was a great video, Great driving and engaging the "No passing on the right" concept...
thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed.
I'm enjoying these ride alongs brother. nice change of pace and it truly gives those a first hand look as to what goes on when responding to a 911 call. keep up the good work. Tell your Uncle thank you and be safe....you as well when out there
thank you. i definitely enjoy watching other ride along videos as well as making them, myself. im glad you enjoy them, thanks for watching
Great video. I really enjoy your ride alongs. Keep up the good work!

haha i'm glad you enjoyed that. I was expecting people to hate on the music lol. thanks for watching
Does the music relaxes the firefighters a bit!

I know that exact area of marina del ray, one of my favorite places I’ve stayed
This is my current squad
very Nice! greetings Peter from sweden
thanks for watching peter!
I WANT MORE OF THESE!
ride alongs? lol hopefully soon
Yes .. Try to get R58
Isint it 858 or something like that?
that's LA City. LA City runs rescue ambulances. this video is LA County, they don't run ambulances, they run paramedic squads like the one I was in in this vide
Im from palo alto i should know lmao
when he turned the eq2b on then off on the highway and the car pulled over I was like oh fuck yeah
haha yeah, the lights were still on .. guess he was paying attention to the mirror!
+Captain Johnson Response Videos in my city they pull over on the opposite side .
Bro I Love 💝 The County Squad's
I do as well. I love to ride out in squads!
Who doesn't
That first one was a long response and did i see lacfd sta#110 as you drove by
yes we were responding to a call in their area. Squad 58 (Ladera Heights) is the first due squad to marina del rey so the response time is kind of long
Nice Vid!! 8-)
thank you!! (:
very cool
thanks
Great video! I really think 110s should get a squad because 58's is a long way.
110 doesn't get enough runs.
110 used to have a squad I think they decided there weren't enough runs to need it though, in my opinion even if they don't have a squad they should at least have them do a paramedic assigned engine or quint.
Nice!!
thanks for watching!
Good job Sheriff
just get my CPR liscence for my emt course and all good to go 😎👍🚑
What was happening at end? Lights flashing but standing in traffic?? Please explain
MrIMBECILE1 - the traffic signal was red w/ no way around traffic. sirens were not activated until the signal turned green and cars could move out of the way.
@@FB1ResponseVideos OK thanks

Dont know how this actually work but since your Squad is numbered 58, Does that mean that there are at least 57 more squads all laid out around the city of Los Angeles, and if so, is there still a Squad 51 just like from the Famous Television show from all those years ago??????
LA County Fire has many many squads, way more than 58 lol. and yes, Station 51 is up in Universal City housing Engine 51, Patrol 51, Squad 51 and a quint coming soon.
According to what I can find there are 75 squads in the LACoFD
do you guys have head phones for your emergency vehicle
for engines and trucks yes. in this squad, they had two sets of headphones so i didnt get one
where's the siren located?
the siren is between the passenger and the driver. its part of the center console with all of the other controls and radios
The siren itself is probably in the front bumper
Awesome! Love their driving! But I just don't get why they even turn the lights off when entering an interstate.
thank you for watching! its a really big thing .. usually on the freeway, units will continue code 2 unless the call is actually on the freeway and its because theres so much traffic and its usually flowing fast so the unit will go with the fast flow of traffic
+RTobi (Rummeltobi) because, when people see emergency lights they make dumb mistakes and sometimes panic and we don't to cause another accident. We will drive with the rear flashers on to let those behind us know we're responding to an emergency call and to use caution etc because we may change lanes. So until we're exiting we'll then turn all flashers on and hit the sirens. Like Capt Johnson said, unless the call is on the freeway (highway patrol will usually have a traffic break going) we will usually ride the shoulder or carpool if its room with lights on. That scenario will vary depending on the conditions of the highway etc. Hope that helps
Lol when you got canceled he was like that's a wrap 😂😂😂
😂 yeah he was pretty fond of me filming. in the beginning, he was fixing his hair and stuff cause i was filming but i told him i'd cut that part out 😂
Captain Johnson Response Videos omg lol
liked that the idiot who didn't yield at 6:25 got his just desserts at 7:35 :)
yeah we had a lot of those throughout the day .. as the day got later, the traffic got a little lighter.. plus this was the day of the super bowl so everyone was pretty much inside
would bet almost 100 percent that this rig was MAYBE retired quite a few years back, am I close?
the apparatus in this video is still S58's frontline. same for the other video of S58 and the one of S171, all still frontlines. thanks for watching.
WOW, both vehicles must have been in service now for something like 15 years or more, is that correct?
@@pizzasubs S58 is a 2017 and S171 is a 2012
