- Back with another video! Car is finally custom tuned! Huge shout out to PQ performance for everything. I wasn't able to make it to film the dyno pulls but car is right under 700whp for now til I get a manifold then I'll turn it up some more. She's moving tho! I like the burble, pop and bang tunes because I've never experienced it with a car myself. I've only heard them through videos and a few times from other cars on the street. It sounds cool to me. I hate being in traffic each time I drive. I would have a good time listening to the loud bangs to keep my mind off of the traffic and humans. I could get my car tuned and do a burble tune, but it's a slow car that I'm planning to keep stock and sell someday. If I ever get a G87 M2, I will definitely experience the burble tunes for the first time.
That's how I was too. I've since reduced them to a single pop and often times have none lol

That is an excellent amount of power for the street where it's not a deathwish for a RWD. Car sounds great! It's nice to see you not chase number but more just enjoyment. It's crazy how easy it is to get so much power out of these S58's.

With upgraded camshafts and valve springs, the S58 can do 940+whp. That bottom end is beefy. Transmission can handle the power too.

I have a 2023 G80CX and its stock except for a AA EL midpipe. Being 41 with a family and bills that never end I felt no need to spend thousands on mods and a tune. The car is plenty fast stock and I have no one to impress lol. I honestly find it crazy how many M owners spends thousands on there cars and will never get that money and back and also hurting the resale value. I'd rather put my hard earned $ elsewhere, like adding a 911 GTS or GT4 to my garage to park next to my stock M3, lol.

The DCT in the F generations for me was a big part of what made them feel like a sports car. Its a shame to see them go really. The aggressive kick up the arse shifts are great in them. I love my DCT m2.

Actually right now in Puerto Rico there is a G80 stock internals doing 1,100hp so in that case is only a pure trans but is still a shiiiii ton of money
The G80 was stock internals and stock trans but trans is slipping crazy and now they are going to change the trans but yeah you can reach 1,100 hp stock motor as far as I know because on dyno the car ran out of gas
