I used this for 7 weeks straight with only a few days off here and there. Spent several thousand dollars on the larger canisters. I have not experienced any numbness or tingling. I do have headaches. I tried explaining the headache sensation to a doctor friend. It's almost as if my brain feels like it's floating in my skull. It's not really vertigo but similar. Sometimes it's just sharp pain like a bad headache. My doctor friend said what I'm describing sounds like the same thing you experience when you're coming off of SSRIs or have a concussion. I haven't used it in 6 weeks and I've been taking supplements like B complex and B12 among others and getting B12 injections for the last 4 weeks at once a week. Again my body and limbs feel okay although I do sometimes feel like my arms and legs are really heavy. The brain thing is hard to describe and understand but what concerns me is my body is starting to feel better but I still get these weird headaches everyday. I used to never get headaches and now I do. I'm hoping in a few more weeks it starts to let out but it's actually pretty intense. If I eat really clean and healthy and get daily exercise is not nearly as bad so I do that. I would really like to know what kind of damage I gave myself from this crap. I'm just going to keep doing the right thing and say the heck away from it.
Also nitrous oxide uses quite prevalent especially in certain European and Asian countries millions of people use it annually and hundreds of thousands of people use it regularly. The fact that there's only been a couple hundred cases of extreme nerve damage in such a large sample size really goes to show how safe it is
I unfortunately made the mistake of abusing this for a period of time. After stopping my whole body was weak.. never seeked medical attention just stopped and took b12 supplements. A year later still have numb feet what a mistake
Thank you for the video! Really good explanation! So in your opinion is abusing whip-it’s the problem? Is sparse use with b-12 supplements enough for safe recreational use? If not what can be done to do it safley/more safley? How much space should be between uses? Etc. Once again great video! But just try to remember these videos won’t end use and because of that spreading harm reduction is equally as important as sharing the risks.
You can use nitrous oxide on occasion and you'll probably never run into any problems, most of the nervous system damage comes from extreme abuse for multiple months, that's not to say there isn't a risk even using it occasionally can potentially cause problems, if you feel any tingling at all I would go get your blood checked. Also don't supplement B12 inject it intravenously if you do that you'll never be deficient no matter how much you abuse
@@thefluffychild4619 did you really just tell me to shoot up b12???? Do u think getting those oxygen tank sold commercially at stores and using a spo2 monitor while using no2 is a good idea, using the pure 95% oxygen between no2 ingestions. Idk if it works but Ik regular air your oxygen levels drop from 97-98% to 80% so I’m going to trying buying one of those boost oxygen tanks and use that instead of regular air 20~%oxygen while the boost is commercialized at 95% pure oxygen so I’ll edit this comment to see what happens to my oxygen levels while using nos and pure boost oxygen
How long does it take the human body to rebuild the B12 or replenish the B12 that was oxidized during the nitrous use? This almost kind of reminds me of the serotonin depletion that people experience while using MDMA.
I don't entirely know the biochemistry behind it but if you're concerned about your B12 levels I just get them checked every couple months and worst case inject a B12 intravenously if you do that no matter how much you abuse nitrous you'll never be deficient
I don’t doubt the science here but there presumably a big difference between somebody who uses it regularly and someone who does it on occasion. How often do you have to abuse it for it to become a problem?

To put things in perspective if you were to be put under for about 5 hours during a surgical intervention which many people are every year that would be the equivalent of over a thousand whippets in one day yet none of these people have problems because it all comes down to consistent use. use it once a month and you won't have any problems

Try folic acid or folate
Get b12 shots it's been 4 weeks my feet are almost better
Folic acid or folate for numbness
If you inject it intravenously you'll never be deficient

Hello I'd like to know if the damage is reversible? I feel numbness in my toes
Try b12 with folic acid or folate
Me too. But I also sit cross legged a lot which I notice it more. But sometimes I get it just from standing in one place
It’s reversible if you keep taking b12 and let it build in your body… as long as you keep nozzing your going to constantly lose b12

Yes it is possible. You would be mitigating damage this way. In one event you may oxidize 2-3 weeks of your reserve b12.
