Excellent lesson Sven. I was paying attention and understood all your chord voicings. The 6+9 chord is such a distinctive sound and used a lot in bossa nova too. I think the key to playing rhythm in gypsy jazz is to get those strumming patterns right. To me, it's more difficult than playing the chords.

At 04:00 it's strange because in the recording I think you can hear a movement from Bb to C but maybe I'm wrong. I play the Bb-6 chord without the pinky (so with a Bb) and then I play the Bb-6.

Hi John, you might be even right! It’s just about the d string! If it’s muted it’s m6 instead of dim!
