Finalmente uno che suona bene, sporco, di cuore e ci mette solo le mani senza avere bisogno della faccia, senza di color correction e scenografie fighe. Great!
Dude, I am an advanced player, but I am tone def. So, learning by ear is out the window. Seeing the tabs and your hand placement is fire. Thank you and keep up the content! There are a lot like me with poor auditory skills.
Hi guys, can anybody help with the strumming? I can't quite figure what chord he's playing at 0:48, in between Bb and C7. Doesn't look nor sound like a B°, and looks a bit like a C#7 but doesn't quite sound like it. Any idea?? Thanks!!!
@@_Nonplussed actually yes, thanks for asking! It was just something I needed to practice. I have a hard time figuring out color on the notes, but can get root notes, minor/major.

This are wonderful lessons, wonderful played, .... but.....that little extra window where we can see your Rhythm playing is not enough to analyse the chord......is there a possibility to inform us about the chord of the moment.....????
I don't think you want to hear this old plastic thing as a backing track but this works...... ua-cam.com/video/EmgK9l26c70/v-deo.html there is one at 230 too.

Hi, I didn't work off sheet music, I just recorded it myself to play over. It's on my to do list to do a video of the chords to some of these songs as well so keep an eye out ;)
Thanks! Yes give it a go! It's tricky in places but I suggest learning the phrases all slowly and build up pace once you've mastered them. The guitar is an old maccaferri guitar, around 1952/3. It's made of plastic! Great guitar tho it needs a bit of TLC.
@@learnguitarsongs2710 What have you done to me! ?? I became so obsessed with your version of this that I have just purchased my own Maccaferri G30, it arrived today. I absolutely love it, it makes a great addition to the 20+ guitars I already own. I am about two thirds of the way through learning this and getting it up to speed. Your video has been invaluable for me. Thank you so much for doing it and thank you for turning me onto these Maccaferri guitars :)
@@scrutti You're welcome! Glad I inspired you! Would like to see a pic of your maccaferri. How and where did you find it? I plan to do more django transcriptions when I get a chance so keep an eye out ;)
Excellent. I think this may be the most beautiful "solo" (if you'd call it that) ever recorded. What would you recommend for a passable budget gypsy style guitar..say under $500 ?
Thanks! I'm not an expert to be honest but the Eastman guitars always get a good rep for a budget gypsy jazz guitar. You don't need one to learn to play tho, any guitar will do. Put some 11 or 12 gauge strings on an electric and away you go. Django himself played electric when he could get his hands on one......
Are you sure? You're right I do have it wrong in the video but then I think you do also. Just checked and it's actually d and e flat so it should be 10-11-10 instead of 11-12-10 which is actually easier to play than I have it in the video. Whoops :) I have known this one for a while and somewhere along the line I must have changed it without realising it.
I love your playing, but you've made an error in the key signature. Though the first chord is Bb, the tune is in F. See the original sheet music. Many songs start on the IV chord of the key and progress through the IVm6 to the tonic.
Excellent and wonderful….
I have this same Maccferri Guitar.. I have had it for probably 30 years….🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🎼👍🏻
Well done. Thanks for sharing
Great tone and feel well played.
Pura magia!!! Django en cada nota!! Magistral.
oh man, I just noticed the chords in the little picture, the hard part !
THANKS
Thank you for this!!! Such a generous thing to give it for free!!! Thank you I really appreciate!!
Fantastic- which I could play this stuff, looks so much fun. The timing more than anything I just find so hard. So distinctive.
You can do it! see my phrase by phrase lesson, go slow. its fun to play slow too!
absolutely adore the cover/lesson
per me è la versione più bella di questo brano pazzesco Complimenti per la grande bravura . Maestro

Amazing to think he only used 2 fingers for playing.

some of the notations are weird. I can't tell if they are slide/ons or hammer-ons, cause on some of the parts they sound interchangeable
Are you playing a Macaferri plastic guitar? If so, very cool.
Yes! I love it! A lovely piece of history!
I love this, I am definitely going to give it a go myself now. What is that guitar? It is beautiful!

Really lovely job. Many attempt this, but not that many make it sound nice like this. Bravo!

Bar 48: the last two notes are definitely d and d flat, not e flat and e.

It's a Maccaferri G40 I believe. Its plastic! Made circa 1953/4 I think. Nice piece of guitar history.
Is that a handmade guitar? What a cool design. Very unique.
