AH I love it so much!! Such a beautiful collection. I agree, the scales are confusing, it would help if online they had imagery in the catalogue pictures showing it in a dollhouse or with a real person. I've wondered if any of it would be compatible with Sylvanians, but I think even the "Micro" accessories are a tad too big (a little bigger than 1:12). I absolutely LOVE everything Maileg, but I know if I started buying them we'd be out of house and home REAL quick LOL! Great video, thank you!
Great video, helpful seeing the sizes. I started collecting these a year ago as well, they are so nicely made. I’m also a toy collector and have been since my kids were little. I’m a grandma now, and am excited to set up an amazing play room for my grandchildren. The nice thing about high quality toys is that they last much longer and can be enjoyed for years. 😊
Ah I think I am going to call myself a toy collector as well 😬. It’s such a beautiful hobby, especially when you’ve got little people around to enjoy them! Doing up a playroom for grandkids sounds like an exciting job!

From Waldorf playstand to Grimms and Ostheimer and Drewart kitchen... I could keep going. We also ended up scoring Peanut just recently. Now you’re getting me excited for Maileg... haha... They make such a gorgeous Easter gift! They do some bunnies as well - slightly larger then the mice but still dollhouse sized (I think they are called mini or my size but don’t quote me on anything because it really is confusing 🙈)

I love Maileg! I would definitely buy it for myself or a future child :P. Don't feel bad if you want to collect toys for yourself aswell! Lots of adults do! It seems like your daughter has an amazing collection already! Personally my idea is to keep the (more expensive/vintage) toys that I collect for myself, aside, when I have children. But of course I would let my child play with them once in a while, if they are old enough to handle them with care.
The adult mice are just sold as mom and dad sized (I believe 15 cm) and then we have 1 big sister mouse (I think 12 cm?) and the baby mice are I think 8 cm? Sorry just going off the top of my head! These are definitely the ones you want for doll house type play though! 🤗
Also if you like Maileg you may love this brand I found on Instagram... it’s a single mom making these beautiful dollhouse critters ... organic and she even grows her own dye garden with her little daughter... her name on Instagram is Floralandfawna and you won’t be disappointed. I’m awaiting my first order from them. I’m totally obsessed with their work.
