I love the dinkum dolls. I just bought a second one for my daughter. My daughter wanted birdie(the one with pick hair). They are so good to play. They sit nicely, they stand on their own and are so soft!

Wonderful gifts! My kids are all grown up now, and I have a grandson. I agree open ended toys really have so much play value and longevity. My kids loved their Kapla blocks, my daughter had the brick building set as well and absolutely loved it. This is my first year buying Christmas gifts for my grandson and I went with a nice selection of Grimm, Hape, and Plan toys. I also love toys, that doll is wonderful, as is the beautiful doll house! Great ideas, thanks for sharing! 😀🎄

Ooo I love the domino idea! I’m always trying to find nice, and educational stocking stuffers. My three year old is also LOL obsessed. She is getting her first one for christmas🤦‍♀️

Oh enjoy the slippery slope of LOL! Riley only has 2 so far (both from her Birthday in October) but she asks for more all the time 🤦🏻‍♀️. I don’t even mind the dolls honestly, I think they are sweet...it’s all the stuff they come in...like the ones I got her, the globe drives me nuts because I just find it takes up a lot of space for not a lot of play value 🤣🤣🤣 I overthink it 🙈

Attached Mummy yes, the globes are quite large! My fear is the little accessories. I also have a one year old. He will eat them, he eats everything, he is basically a goat! But, I agree with you, if they get good play, it’s all worth it!

I suppose baby goats are called kids for a reason 🤣

Those Kapla blocks remind me of Brain Blox! We have those and they seem like the same thing but I don’t know if brain blocks have color packs. I wonder if the two would work together. Either way, that’s a great toy!

Just looked up the brain blox and they do look like the exact same thing! You can’t seem to get them here though. I would imagine they are the same size but obviously even the slightest difference in size would make them not compatible. I’ll have to get out a plank and measure it for you when Riley isn’t around. I wonder if you can get Kapla there though 🤔. They are a French brand but they are the brand all over schools etc here.

We only have the dolls so far until the accessories are gifted at Christmas but I am so excited 😍. I can definitely see myself falling down a Maileg rabbit hole 🕳

Great haul. Are you buying for your daughter or you?!!! If your daughter is anything like Mine she will be more excited about those LOL dolls at five dollars than anything else that you've spent 500 on! My daughter does have any but seems to know what they are and demands them constantly.

Both of us enjoy her toys 😬. She will definitely be excited for the LOL dolls but once they have been opened they won’t be played with much after. The other toys will hold her attention day in and day out. I know from experience with her as we have been buying more open ended toys for her the last 2 years but I don’t shun things like LOL either. Nothing here was 500...the most expensive gift was her dolls house which was £200 and the LoL dolls house this year is going for the same amount. Wooden toys hold a large percentage of their resale value (about 75% in my experience, and sometimes even more then original cost 🤷🏻‍♀️) while an LOL house would be practically worthless in a few years. I don’t shy from saying I love and enjoy her toys but she definitely does as well. The majority of her toys are dollhouse/furniture and building related because that is just how she likes to play day in and day out consistently for the past 2 years of her life and I am happy to encourage her passions. 🤗
