well see this is a very bullshit method of finding stuff but taking g as 10 m/s^2 it takes g 100/10 = 10s to make velocity zero now see hmax is essentially average velocity * time taken to reach top which is 10 so its 100+0/2 = 50 m/s * 10 s as it took 10 s for the body to reach the top then it started falling so its 500 m or 510 if g =9.8

For those wondering how he got to 510 as a result, you have do divide both sides by 19,6 --> 19,6d/19,6 = 10000/19,6 --> d = 10000/19,6 ≈ 510

-100^2=-18.6d

10000/18.6=d

ur caculator is on the wrong mode it should be on degree not radical

In order to change your calculator to degrees you press the mode button until you can locate the "degree" option, than just press the corresponding number.
